Actress Natasha Richardson was in a fatal ski accident and passed away yesterday:
Natasha Richardson, a Tony Award-winning actress whose career melded glamorous celebrity with the bloodline of theater royalty, died Wednesday at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She had suffered head injuries in a skiing accident Monday north of Montreal, and was flown to the hospital a day later. She was 45 and lived in New York City and in Millbrook, New York. Alan Nierob, a spokesman for her husband, the actor Liam Neeson, announced Ms. Richardson’s death Wednesday night. A family statement neither disclosed the cause of death nor discussed Ms. Richardson’s medical condition.
