Isiah Thomas and his inappropriate touching and bitch calling has cost the New York Knicks 11.5 million dollars:
Anucha Browne Sanders – the former New York Knicks exec who won $11.6 million in a sexual harassment lawsuit against the team’s coach Isiah Thomas and owners of Madison Square Garden – has agreed to settle the matter for $100,000 less, reports the Associated Press.
The deal came as Browne Sanders prepared to return to U.S. District Court in Manhattan this week for the compensatory damages phase of her civil trial. She will now receive $11.5 million in punitive damages, per her settlement agreement with Thomas and MSG.
Browne Sanders said she was “extremely pleased” to have settled. “The jury’s verdict in this case sent a powerful and enduring message that harassment and retaliation at Madison Square Garden will not be tolerated,” she said in a statement. “It has been a long journey, but I believe that justice has been done.”
Shit yeah, we would be extremely pleased as well. Women get harassed everyday of the week, and we’re sure they wouldn’t mind putting up with a little harassment for $11.5 Mil.

You say there was no proof of sexual harr*****ment? OK. However there was definitely a hostile work environment and apparently that was proof enough for the entire MSG organization to be fined $11M. the fact of the matter is, there was enough evidence against msg for the anika brown to prove her case, she won; they’re payin up fair and square. its a open and shut case. no one commenting here served on the jury on this case. you dont know what key factors and evidence determined this decision.
of course they’re handiling this quickly, they dont want any negative press, they wanna sweep this under the rug as quickly as possible and move along. also they dont want other women coming out of the woodwork claiming that similar things happened to them for a payout.
