R. Kelly has been doing an adequate job of staying out of the mix, that is, until now:
R Kelly is somehow involved in a South African money scam. A Durban woman named Busisiwe Priscilla Zakwe claims she deposited 10.5 million South African rands ($1 million) into R Kelly’s bank account for a concert that never happened. The concert investors are suing her ass. R says he never heard of the woman nor received any money, but investigators claim to have a copy of a deposit slip proving the transaction took place and have confirmed that the account belongs to R-ah. The case is scheduled to be heard in a South African court on September 10, 2009.
