I completely agree. I usually don’t read the comments because there’s so much (self)-hate it ain’t funny. She looks lovely, she’s an amazing talent, and it blows my mind that people just can’t support the fact that another Black woman (and her sister) rose to the top of a sport that has been dominated by white people for years. Serena looks great and she is doing that dress jsutice. I am so proud of Venus for graduating from Fashion School. She started a clothign line and did not jsut put her name on it, she actually wnet o school and got a degree to back it up. Big Props. these are two very intelligent and bright, beautiful women. They are the role models young women need to lok up to. Venus will not have someone else telling her whats wrong and right, she can know it for herself. Venus looks happy with her new man. They make a nice looking couple. Congrats on fashion school. Hopefully she will conquer fashion the same as she conquered tennis.

From what I hear, Hank has made the rounds among celeb females. However, Venus looks healthy and happy and her eleven clothes line is cute, fashionable and very wearable. Good for her, she’s focused and has a good head on her shoulders and doesn’t seem to be effected by the “skank syndrome” that so many other young female celebs have fallen prey to.

I really shouldn’t speak for Venus but from what I can see she doesn’t date Black Men, that’s why I made the statement that you (BM) are invisible to her..I’ve always heard Black Men say how ugly they were (V&S) so that may be the reason why she doesn’t date you. In our community the darker skinned sisters seem to be the last choice for Black Men whereas White Men often seem to be attracted to the same Women that Black Men shun, so many sisters are going with who values them and makes them feel good about themselves…which seems to be White Men.
