Well, everyone’s got a right to their opinion and I can respect that. Personally, I preferred Aaliyah’s sound when R. Kelly was producing her. Timbaland wasn’t quite right for the texture of her voice – the only exception being ‘Try Again.’ Perhaps you’re right when you take the record sales into consideration. I don’t think she would have gotten there with Timbaland though. As an actor, she needed a great deal more experience.

Of course Beyonce can’t touch Mariah’s vocal range, not even Whitney can. But that has nothing to do with being a better singer. It depends somewhat on your range, but the quality, tone, and control you have in your voice also qualifies. Therefore, Mariah should not be thought of as a better singer because she has a wide range.
We took a poll in one of my musicl schools about 4 months ago, and we had to number the greatest singers (on the sheet) from Best to not so best with 1 being the best. It had, Whitney, Celine Dion, Mariah, Beyonce, Christina A., and Aretha (I think that was it). The list has nothing to do with the greatest singers ever, it’s just random singers. This was show it turned out by average:

If you check out any of Rihanna’s interviews and the like, she *always* says that one of her biggest influences (if not the biggest) is Fefe Dobson. She gives credit where credit is due and shows respect. Beyonce could take a lesson, and I’ll explain below.
I used to kinda dig Beyonce, because I thought she was down to Earth and just wanted to do her thing. That changed when she went catty on the Jacksons. She was unhappy that someone compared her family to them, and she said “People think just because my family is African American, that we’re like the Jacksons. We’re NOTHING like them.” She went on to say that the Jackson children “Were exploited” and that “their parents used them to get out of a bad situation.” ..she then went on to talk about how better she is than them because her dad drove a Jaguar before Destiny’s Child came on the scene. Janet got wind of it and was pretty *****ed..and rightly so!
There was no reason for her to put them on blast like that. To be compared to the Jackson family is a freaking COMPLIMENT. How talented are they? EXTREMELY. Trend setters and icons in their own right. Let’s be straight up honest here, she can’t hold a candle to ANY of them talent wise, except MAYBE LaToya and Tito. No, not even Tito, he had a voice AND could play an instrument. Just LaToya. I remember her complaining about her pictures being touched up to make her look lighter, and her rear and thighs look smaller..she was really unhappy about it, and actually came out and said in numerous places “I’m Hispanic, and Hispanic and Black women have big hips and butts, that’s just how we’re built. I like Beyonce’s voice and she can definitely sing, but I agree with some of the other bloggers here…She has been swag jacking a lot, from music to videos, and God knows what else. The one thing that she can not do better than Ciara is dance. Ciara definitely has her there! Beyonce was original with Destiny’s Child, but since going solo, she has lost her originality. I would have to say around her 2nd solo album, she was not so original anymore.

Ciara has no image of her own and never has. When she first started she alway’s tried to look like Aliyah which she could never I repeat never look, sing, or have the charisma of Aliyah. Now she is trying to take on Beyonce’s image and the same is true. The girl is a broke down ghetto version of both Aliyah and Beyonce.
Well guys, I would have said the same at first sight but, i figured out I had to look closer at that. If you realize all the Ciara’s frames are only from her latest video “Love, sex & magic”, while Beyonce’s frames are from diferent videos.
This leads me to think that maybe Ciara’s video producers wanted to have some sort of revenge for what must have been Beyonce’s past accusations by setting all the scenarios very likely to her videos.

erm….. did it occur 2 any1 that ciara may not have come up with any of these ideas…. artists do have to work with c*****ographers and directors you know. They tend to come up with the same ideas for alot of artists who just go with it cos its meant to be hot!
