Jimmy Jones told on himself yesterday in a childish attempt to be cool and portray the thug personality:

Jim Jones played three roles on Tuesday: defendant, rapper and actor. The head of Harlem’s Dipset crew pleaded not guilty to assault charges in criminal court, then topped off the evening with a performance of his play, “The Hip Hop Monologues.” The rapper, best known for his single “Flying High,” was charged with assaulting Ne-Yo’s manager, Jayvon Smith, in December. “Court was humbling,” he told us. “It was another message to me to reevaluate the things I’ve been doing and how I’ve been handling situations.”

Jones’ play features scenes in which he apologizes for many of his past mistakes, like his involvement with drugs. But has he learned his lesson? The rapper tweeted on Twitter during his trial, “I’m late 4 court wit marajuana eyes” and “sittin in court wit a pocket full of weed.” No wonder Jim told us after his show, “I’m feeling good. I gotta smile.”

Jimmy is a thug, no doubt, but he is also at the age where it is time to pass the baton, move on, and mature. Lets go Jimmy, times-a-wasting.

A thug? Bossip, get on your “street cred” game. Apparently y’all are lost so let me help you out. Just because you sell drugs does not make you a thug, esp if you are moving weight for someone else. It makes you a “get it boy” and next Jimmy was never know for pushing lots of weight in the streets or known as a kingpin so lets stop throwing the word thug around. He’s far from a thug. It shows that people these days have distorted views on what “thugs” really are. All those people you see on American Gangsta are thugs. Look up the definition of thug for real. He sure acts like he smokes weed but then maybe the emphasis should be on “acts”. That sucks that these days the rappers have to front like they are “thugs”. I’ll say it again what happened to the old days when you could be yourself. Public Enemy and KRS-One were intelligent and proud of it. Will Smith (the biggest box office star in the world right now) was considered corny by some but he didn’t care, Kid n Play also. You don’t need a record to create a record. But Jim Jones is cute (looks wise) but his personality needs improving.

there’s no such thing as an age limit, why do some of you think that anything criminal/thug-ish/etc is only to be done, if at all, when young?

that being said, this clown isn’t a thug, he’s just a weed smoking, attention whoring, entertainer with delusions of grandeur and a serious man-crush on his so-called nemesis and makes sure to surround himself with real ones when his ***** disturbing yapping gets him into trouble.
