The officer was dead wrong for what he did and i sincerely believed had it of been a plan white person, yes i said it.. he would of let them go with no problem and probably would of given a police escort! He shouldn’t of been put on paid leave he should be fired,point blank period, bet you if he was a black officer doing that to a white family..guess what? yep you guessed it he would be so fired with no questioning cuz the white community would be sooo outraged that the police department wouldn’t want that kinda heat coming down on their asses!

But The report was that he had ran a red light which is why they pulled him over in the first place. My brother was in a similar situation where he was driving his girlfriend and her mother to the hospital behind the ambulance that her father was in b/c he was dying too. He ran a light and hit a truck head on. Luckily, we only attended one funeral instead of four. So I can understand that the officer was doing his job on that aspect. Nonetheless, he shouldn’t have went the extra mile after finding out the situation. My prayers go out to the family.
