In this particular conversation, she revealed that she was taught by her single-parent mother that you shouldn’t rely on men. Now she developed a complex about trusting men. I then asked her what is she going to do about it…Her response was nothing…I was immediately turned off by that response . Nevertheless, I still engaged in the conversation with her.I come from the traditional family where all the men made every decision when it came to the well-being of the family. So I asked her, would she have a problem playing the support not the leader in a relationship and she almost had a cow. Can you see how this can effect who a man tries to date when the majority of women I have met have the identical answers? This is why I now refuse to date women that come from a single mother household.
