Monica Lewinsky Fires Back At Beyonce For Song Lyrics

Monica Lewinsky has some words for Beyoncé following an explicit reference to her. On “Partition” from Beyoncé’s self-titled 2013 mega-smash surprise album, King Bey sings:

“Now my mascara running, red lipstick smudged. Oh he so horny, he want to f*ck. He popped all my buttons, and he ripped my blouse. He Monica Lewinski’d all on my gown”

Bill Clinton’s former mouth-mistress is now coming out to fire back at Beyonce and talks about life post-oral scandal.

Via Rolling Stone reports:

When Beyoncé surprised everyone with her racy, eponymous album last year, one of the most talked-about lyrics came from “Partition,” when the singer references Bill Clinton’s affair with then-intern Monica Lewinsky. “Oh he so horny, yeah he want to fuck,” sings Beyoncé. “He popped all my buttons, and he ripped my blouse/He Monica Lewinsky-ed all on my gown.”

In a new interview with Vanity Fair entitled “Shame and Survival,” Lewinsky corrects the singer on what she says is the proper verb to refer to the act of ejaculating on your partner. “Thanks, Beyoncé,” said Lewinsky. “But if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d.'”

Nearly two decades after making headlines, Lewinsky remains a pop culture figure. Eminem referenced her in last year’s “Rap God” (after mentioning her before in Bad Meets Evil’s “Scary Movies”), while Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Raekwon and Migos have all mentioned the former intern.

Now 40, Lewinsky comes clean about her past in the interview, saying she “deeply regrets” her sexual relationship with Clinton. “It’s time to stop tiptoeing around my past—and other people’s futures,” says Lewinsky. “I am determined to have a different ending to my story. I’ve decided, finally, to stick my head above the parapet so that I can take back my narrative and give a purpose to my past. (What this will cost me, I will soon find out.)”

In 2014, Lewinsky’s past still haunts her, with potential jobs in communications and branding squashed due to the affair. “Because of what potential employers so tactfully referred to as my ‘history,'” she writes, “I was never ‘quite right’ for the position. In some cases, I was right for all the wrong reasons, as in ‘Of course, your job would require you to attend our events.’ And, of course, these would be events at which press would be in attendance.”
