Benzino Talks On Relative Shooting Him At Mother's Funeral

Benzino spoke in great detail about his near-death experience of being shot twice at his mother’s funeral not too long ago, in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV. The Love & Hip Hop star detailed the entire day’s events leading up to the actual shooting, and never once did he state that it was his nephew who shot him. He claims that he suddenly heard shots go off while driving in his car towards his mother’s funeral, but never actually saw the shooter.

It took him nearly a full half-hour to get to the hospital, at which point he was fearful that he actually might die because his arm was bleeding profusely. Apparently his nephew phoned in to police and admitted to shooting Benzino out of self-defense. Benzino stated that if it comes down to testifying in trial, he won’t name his nephew as the shooter because he never saw him pull the trigger.
