Carol City, Florida rapper Rick Ross will make a surprise appearance at the Miami Gardens Job Corps tomorrow, AllHipHop.com has learned.
Ross will be on hand tomorrow (March 31) in his old neighborhood of Carol City, where the Job Corps center is located.
He will encourage students to pursue their academic or career technical training to improve their lives.
Job Corps is a free education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, which aims to help young people ages 16-24.
During his visit, Ross will also push students to continue their quest for education after the completion of their G.E.D. program.
Rick Ross is preparing to release his third album Deeper Than Rap, which is the first officially release from his new label, Maybach Music Group.
His new album features guest appearances from his own rap crew Triple C’s, Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Nas, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Masspike Miles and others.
Deeper Than Rap is due in stores on April 21st.
We can definitely dig anything celebs, especially black ones, do to encourage our youngsters to stay their course as far as education is concerned. Thanks, Ricky.
