I can’t see how this case could go to trial. Where could the prosecutor find an impartial jury. Everybody and their mamma has heard the details, seen the photo, read the opinions of the media who overwhelmingly hate CB and have already convicted him, heard legal opinion and all that. I dont thin the OJ case had this much said about it before the actual trial.

The DA in LA is doing this because he wants to appease th epublic and get back intheir good graces since they messed up the OJ case and are very inconsistent.

This story has sounded suspicious from the beginning…and further…NO details have been released regarding any statements that Chris Brown has made to the police…and as far as him not having ANY bruises…Rihanna said that she gauged his eyes and she kicked him with her feet…IF she’s telling the TRUTH he would have some kinda of marks on him in the facial area…and the police did say he had NONE…this would include his fist/knuckles…and you know there would have been bruising…and it seems that the police would have mentioned that other than talking about how polite and mannerable he was…

I got a story for you. My cousin is an actress in LA. She was telling me that some of the extras on the set of that movie that he was doing with TI saw Rhianna there all the time on his set and around his trailer. She was telling me that the extras were saying how Rhianna would always be yelling at CB from across the street and trying to get him away from the females that he might had been just simply talking to.

I am on team BOTH but I will say as I have said before I do not know what happened that night in the car and none of us do. I feel wrong was done on BOTH sides. If she was beating him with a shoe and ended up beating his azz cause he NEVER hit her back at all (not beat her down) he would be the laughing stock of the industry for letting his girl beat him down. Well all Rihanna has to do is say he isn’t an abusive boyfriend to get rid of that label for CB.
Public opinion changes with the wind. I remember when this story first came out it seemed like everybody was on Ri’s side, now look at it people are seeing how far fetched that affidavit sounds and now that Ri’s out having fun and Chris is looking sad people are taking up for him now. I think that with time everybody will forget about it aside from people making jokes at his and Ri’s expense.

CB is no “woman beater”. A woman beater starts swinging b/c the chick burnt the toast, looked at him wrong, he had a bad day at work, the wind blew the wrong way.

He was in a situation where he was likely being kicked, hit, beaten, and attacked by a crazed chick WHILE DRIVING.

If they were at the crib, he would’ve likely walked away.

BUT…

They were in a tiny, 2-SEATER. He pulled over and TRIED TO PUT HER OUT OF THE CAR–the driver’s version of walking away.

She refused to get out and kept kirking.

She hit/kicked him in that right spot and he went off–likely smacking her in the mouth one good time to draw a bit of blood.

I don’t think he pummeled her face. Her nose wasn’t broken, her eyes weren’t blackened, there were no bruises on her cheeks.

She likely got the bruises on the forehead from him trying to push her out of the car B/C SHE WAS ACTING A DAMN FOOL and the mouth busted from the fight that went on in that tiny *****e.

I’m the nicest, calmest, most patient person I know. BUT, in that situation, I’m not sure what I would’ve done if I was the driver.

PUT YOURSELVES IN HIS SHOES. He was NOT at the crib, on the beach, or at a party. Their very SAFETY depended on him putting an end to the situation and getting them home.

I think things just escalated on both sides.

But I don’t think he needs to be thrown under a jail.

Why should Chris Brown be made an example of???? I think someone, perhaps all the people that have had an opinion, should help set an example about how this kind of situation can be best resolved. He made a mistake, he’s a young, famous, black man. I’m a black woman and although I don’t agree with domestic violence, I don’t agree that this should be the end of this young man’s career. I feel he needs guidance and support. Why would you give up on this young man? He has so much promise, and ability to lead our youth, no one is perfect and someone who could move forward from this, would be a great example to our men, young men, and of course our women. The healing doesn’t come from tearing him down, he didn’t create this situation on his own, so please take a sec to imagine also how he feels. I watched the Kid’s Choice Awards the other night with my nephew, and because of this unfortunate event, Chris was not there. Of all entertainers, we had to watch the ***** Cat Dolls. I’m just saying, lets set an example for other young, black men, you have to be accountable for your actions, but we’re not all giving up them.

Chris Brown’s career is essentially over. This situation is very different than most cases because of the cowardly moves of Chris. Most people will always look at him as a wife beater regardless and his career will stall. Most other cases involve and weapons, drug, whatever, very forgettable charges. But for Chris to hit a woman like that will NEVER be forgotten. He has committed career suicide.

I know this is not the site for commonsense advice but since I love my black people I’ll give it anyway..I think we need to introduce the course “conflict resolution” from elementary through graduate school and make it mandatory. Also, encourage churches to focus on teaching conflict resolution because even so called christian men are beating up on their wives vis a vis the bynum story.. Conflict resoluton teaches how to resolve situations without being physical. the public likes and respects authenticity…you can’t be something that your not and pull it off…either that’s you or that’s just an image…now images just aren’t good enuf…ask jlo

these two have behaved i.e their music, lyrics, clothing, nature, exact

i wouldn’t expect anything else…they both keep it real

a good thing

no american female celeb would have put love before her career

and no male celeb would have put their girl before their own interest

there is no way rihanna or chris could have kicked-off a tour w/o the other being there for support

these two are the real deal…together first and foremost for the right reasons…not just a good look, after-thought, prop, or opportunity

that’s way the have a bright future ahead of them

their fans really need to come together and cheer for both of them

if they weren’t together they still wouldn’t be with you

this is all now a waiting game…more will probably be said after next monday….but hopefully not alot…until the public becomes ready to accept the truth….will take few more months…until then neither should do any talk show with an audience…only the host and them…i would also be extremely careful about the show…this isn’t ready for mtv yet…and don’t do oprah for a few years…tell her to go suck a lemon…she helped to cause this greater fiasco

Both their careers will be just fine. She has to play her cards right which she will. Chris is NOT an abuser thats all she has to say it was an isolated incident that she started and she will be fine. This is all just PR talk. Her lawyer is saying this so it looks good to the public. Just like the “break” from each other. The best thing Chris can do is to hide from the public thats why he’s in virginia. The best thing Rihanna can do is go out and act like everything is ok hence all the going out she’s doing. It’s all a big OBVIOUS front.

It’s sad that they have to be confined like that. Every couple goes through problems, most of your own PARENTS probably had issues similar to this. Just because he messed up once doesnt mean he’ll do it again. I’m sick of Oprah and the media saying if he did it once he’ll do it again and acting like he’s a monster…it’s a minor blip. We all make slip ups. I will continue to support both Rihanna and Chris.

I’m so sick of people talking smack about Chris and Rihanna…wtf some of ya’ll are actin’ like the damn media now. He made a mistake, he apologized, she forgave him…what else do you want? I think people just like to see stars fall from grace. They want Chris to go to jail and they want Rihanna to be single and miserable. I dont believe for one second that the media really cares about this girl, look how quick they turned on her, from victim to getting negative press now. I bet if this was some white couple, half of this s**t would not be coming out!
