JHud doesn’t have time for all that pretentious designer bullshyte. She’s got something original planned for her wedding later this year:

Jennifer Hudson is shunning designer dresses for her forthcoming wedding – she’s planning on sketching her own pattern for the gown. The Spotlight hitmaker is set to marry boyfriend David Otunga, after he proposed on the star’s 27th birthday (12Sep08).

And Hudson has decided that rather than approach a luxury label about her outfit, she wants to create her own. She says, “I’m gonna design my own dress. I want to design it… Definitely classic, more traditional than anything. I want it to be nice and traditional, but very classy, very classy.”

Can’t knock Jenny for wanting to do her own thang. We’re looking forward to seeing this first-hand gown. Sources also report that Jennifer’s 3 dogs will be in the wedding as well. This ought to be interesting, to say the least…
