18-Year-Old Escort Charged With Murder Of Florida Man Who Answered Her Backpage Ad

An 18-year-old call girl has been charged with murdering a man she met up with at a Florida hotel room after he answered an ad she’d placed on Backpage.com

According to NY Daily News reports:

Amber Ward — who uses the nickname Chocolate Bunny when posting ads on Backpage.com — allegedly shot the 29-year-old victim, Isaac Grace, after they met at an Econo Lodge in Tallahassee on May 1, WPMI-TV reported.

Investigators located Ward — who lives in Mobile, Ala. — using the phone number and address she used to check into the room, police said.

“Ms. Ward is a known prostitute,” Mobile County Sheriff Office spokesman Sgt. Joe Mahoney told the news station. “She has had a previous arrest in Mobile for prostitution which stemmed from a city of Mobile investigation.”

“We’re finding ads from her from Montgomery, all the way to Florida and Mississippi,” he said.

Two spent 9-mm casings — similar to those found near Grace’s body — were found in Ward’s vehicle after she was cuffed, according to court documents obtained by WPMI-TV.

Police did not immediately reveal a motive for the murder, but said that Ward stole the victim’s cellphone before she fled.

“These Backpage ads, there are several of them each day advertising sexual favors,” Mahoney told the news station. “But you never know. A lot of times these are women or even men posing as (women), setting up guys to show up at a remote location where they’re isolated and can be robbed.”

18 seems so young to be out in the world sloring and killing people. SMH. She just threw her young life away.
