Why do people feel this man has been strung along? Do you actually think that these 2 have never had a conversation about their own relationship? They are happy and let's leave them at that.

And for the record, Steadman is not a broke man. He too, is a multi-millionaire. After a certain point your money makes money just by sitting in the bank. I'm sure neither one of them is looking at the others bank statements.

Poolside

I understand dont fix what aint broke. There really isnt that much of a hassle to get married in a small ceremony. when me and my wife got married, it took 10mins in a small ceremony with a preacher and 2 friends.

The examples you used for not wanting to get married are all situations were they decided to get married for all the wrong reasons. so of course it not going to work. But what u are pretty much saying is that when things go wrong not being married makes it easier to leave. No marriage or relationship is easy or simple. Everything takes hard work to make it work.

Nuthing against what works for you. But everyone tries to use examples or situations of y they feel there marriage wont work. If your relationship is not like everyone elses y should you care that that's what will happen to you.

Its crazy these days at the excuses people use to keeping doing wrong by the man upstairs.

Funnymoney said..................all im saying is that if you been with someone for 15yrs you should know by now if that is the one for you. So i do understand that everyone doesnt have to get married and that the man has to be living by the commandments in order for GOD to bless the marrige.

Just ask yourself, would you be in a relationship for 15yrs and not expect to get married at some point.

---------------------------------------------------------

I have been with my man for almost 9 years, we have a beautiful child and a very loving, fun and fulfilling life together. We have made our own commitment to one another but we have never been married by a court. We have no plans on changing ANYTHING and I get physically sick at the thought of going through the process of getting married....The paper work, the court house, the wedding planning...flowers/dresses/flowergirls/a reception/honeymoon...SHOOT!!! We have no plans on changing ANYTHING....we both agree getting married is not for us, we do not need a piece of paper to validate our relationship. I've been a court witness in two city hall "weddings" Both times I was so put off by the coldness of it all. I don't like traditional weddings I hate going to them and have never wanted one for myself. We have been to four weddings since we first started dating and only ONE of those couples are still married today. My mans sister just finished her second divorce in 6 years, between splitting her 3 kids 3.5 days a week and fighting w/ x-hubby #2 cuz who takes her to court every time he can (this month he's trying to change his son's days around so he won't be there w/ the other kids)....she is loosing her dang mind........AND BROKE FROM LEGAL FEES. She MARRIED x-hubby #2 because she found out she was pregnant (while on the pill) and didn't want to set a bad example ( "like my brother and his girlfriend" ) for her children, they were dating but not living together at the time. They got married and got a place together, the baby was born the fights started the cheating started and now she's at divorce #2 w/ 3 kids under 6yrs old, broke cuz her first husband did her wicked with the house(his house now) and money and X #2 was not as smart business wise but way more spiteful. The saddest part is her kids are screwed up even more because of all the new/old drama.... Meanwhile the two of us are still toegther and happy as hell, I'm not advising anyone else to not get married but I understand it's not for everyone. For me why fix it if it ain't broke.
