Hopefully Kim’s biking skills have improved in the last couple weeks.
Kim Kardashian West (yes she has taken his name – at least on Instagram and Twitter) and her newlywed hubby have been enjoying the great Irish outdoors on their honeymoon but they’ve also been leaving big tips at their local stops!
According to DailyMail reports:
Kim Kardashian and Kayne West went trekking and mountain biking yesterday before going to a local pub for a pint of Guinness, it has been confirmed.
The newlyweds and four of their staff arrived at a popular mountain biking company in Ballyhoura, County Limerick at 8am yesterday, sources said.
They then hired bikes and a tour guide at Ballyhoura Failte before trekking through the famous Blackrock Loop and the Ballyhoura Way.
During their day, the stopped to enjoy a picnic prepared by The Old Bakehouse, in Bruff. Included in the hamper was a selection of tarts, sandwiches and other treats – all made from local produce.
Rather than sipping on champagne, they drank Ballyhoura apple juice.
They then made their way to a local pub – where the newlyweds enjoyed a pint of Guinness, manager of the outdoor activity group Fergal Somers confirmed this morning.
Mr Somers said: ‘We had two American VIPs here yesterday.
‘They had four staff with them. They hired bikes for 35 euros and a guide for 75 euros.
‘They only booked the day before. They went hiking and biking as this area is well known for it. One of the party had visited the region before – so knew about us that way.
‘The guide said they had an absolute blast. He took them to the pub afterwards where they had a pint of Guinness I believe.
‘They were very generous with their tip – I was told it was four-figure. There were six of them in the group though.
‘I don’t know where they were going afterwards. They stayed in Castle Oliver before coming here though.’
It is thought the group have now made their way to the Kerry region in south west Ireland.
The area has certain sentimental value to the newlyweds – as Kim’s mother Kris Jenner honeymooned in the famous Ring of Kerry area when she married athlete Bruce Jenner.
The pair arrived into Cork airport on Sunday afternoon having wed at the luxurious Fort di Beldevere in Florence on Saturday.
They spent their first nights at the remote Castle Oliver in Ardpatrick, Limerick, on Sunday, the owner of the property confirmed yesterday.
One of the couple’s elite jets is said to have been spotted in Kerry on Monday, fueling speculation they will fly out of the region in the coming hours.
They couple are rumored to be visiting Dublin before flying out of the country on Saturday at 6am.
The newlyweds are due to attend a wedding in Prague this weekend.
As an FYI the Ballyhoura Way trail is a challenging long-distance trek. It is 55miles long and, according to local walking information, covers three counties: Cork, Limerick, Tipperary. There’s also a pretty steep incline on the trail — so it’s unlikely KimYe went very far. Still you have to applaud her for trying. We never thought we’d see the day Kim did anything more than lay out and take selfies on a vacation.
