What an utterly amazing little soul to put herself in harm’s way to protect her mother. I swear the children are putting many of us so called grown ups to shame We really need to learn from them…

May God bless, protect and keep this amazing little girl, her mother and all those affected by this event. I hope that the man responsible learns something from this; that violence just is not the way…

Got to agree with I Think. This is not something that only black people need to wake up from and ponder; this whole escalation of violence thing in the world is one for the entire human race to work on. Sadly.

Did you not read my entire post? I DID SAY MY HEART BREAKS but if you lived where I grew up these type of stories are not anything new. You become numb after while & begin to wonder what makes some women tick! Why keep a no good man in your home?!

I’ll divulge a story…

A few years back my aunt who was living with her man became the target of violence one night. For saftey she ran across the courtyard to her neighbors apt. This neighbor had always warned her to leave this man alone but like a knucklehead my aunt kept taking him back into her home all while seeing other men. Well this particular violent night “her man” followed auntie to the neighbor’s home, kicked in the door shot the neighbor’s 18 yr old son in the neck & shot the neighbor in the chest he then yanked my aunt into the street & made her watch him as he shot himself in the temple. Everyone in that house died as a result of my aunts stupidity!!! I saw firsthand what her lack of judgement did to that poor womans family. What Right Did She Have Running to THAT WOMAN & placing HER & HER SON in harms way? My ignorant aunt knew the dude was 15 months outta jail & he was a violent personality!

You can’t tell me you lay up with a man almost every night & don’t know he got violent tendancies come off it!!!
