Next day the lady said everything was fine and I could come in to sign the lease. My whole family is Black and we have excellent credit. My friend who works as a Bankruptcy attorney just told me that 95% of her clients are White with bad credit. Furthermore, when these credit agencies conduct a credit *****ysis your race, occupation, where you live, etc. all comes into play. Teachers are given a high score to start off with because of their occupation. So I definitely question the *****ysis of credit scores. Kanye shouldn’t generalize though. JMHO.

Yes, there is a correlation between the quality of one’s credit record and one’s race. A 2000 study by Freddie Mac found striking race-credit correlations:

Having bad credit does not stem from being black, it stems from being un-educated. Kanyes ***** would still have “Black” credit if he didn’t have a damn deal. Sometimes I wonder about him. SMH
This is why the importance of maintaining good credit needs to start early in life. Parents need to get their finances in order and teach their children to always pay their bills on time, because if they don’t it will lower their credit score and in America today it is nearly impossible to get the basic things in life such as homes, transportation and other things. Don’t co-sign for *****ody because more often than not, that person will leave you holding the bag and destroy your finances. That said, Black people need to think about what they say and how it effects the rest of us, before they open their mouths to say disparaging things about race.
