As a Black woman who has recently rebuilt her credit score, I understand FULLY what Kanye is talking about. White credit score is BE-U-T-FO!

My parents never told me a thing about money and credit. I had to learn from my girls’ Sicilian credit manager husband about this mess. Way before Oprah made a show about it!!

White people can’t make potato salad and they can’t cook no greens. They just can’t. And that white southern cuisine has nothing on soul food. If your car broke down at dinnertime on Chritmas in front of two houses a white family and black family. Where would you rather go eat? Kanye’s telling the truth. He ain’t too uppity to know what taste good. Unfortunately, black people do need to step up their knowledge in the credit and money management department. Maybe his quite will motivate the next generation to get some financial counseling or pick up a Suze Orman book.

I’m not mad @ Kanye for saying that. My credit was messed up until this year (I’m 29 now) and it went from I think 400 something to 679 now…praise Jesus. Now I pay my bills before time and don’t over spend (even on Christmas). Bless everyone!!!
