If I were to ask you what was number one in your life right now, what would your answer be? Let me re-phrase my question: what do you invest the majority of your time in?

For many of us, our answer might be: in a relationship that means a lot to us, hanging with our friends or family members, our jobs, our careers, but how many of us would say having a meaningful relationship with God and doing what He requires of us? Very few. Very, very few.

When was the last time you felt extremely exhausted? Tired? Just worn out? This morning? Last night? A week ago? Plenty of us are existing in this life but it’s been so long since we’ve felt alive. It’s been so long since we prayed or even talked to God. It’s been so, so long since we’ve just had that one on one relationship with Him. It’s been so long since we really just spent quality time with Him and have gotten to really know Him.

Now anybody that really understands the value of a relationship knows that if you don’t spend enough time with your significant other long enough, the value or the core of the relationship will die. This is what’s happening to us: the saints.

Many of us are self-destructing. We are hurting ourselves by placing all of our importance, all of our emphasis, all of our time into something that will eventually fade away. Don’t get me wrong, I do believe as I always mention, that God gave us the ability to be able to enjoy people and for them to be able to enjoy us but placing all of our trust in PEOPLE is dangerous. It leads to an emptiness that cannot be filled because regardless of how much people love you, they are going to let you down. People are going to be people!!!! And at the end of the day, your feelings are hurt, you’re broken,, you’re mind is confused because you’ve placed your trust in an unrelaible source.

LET’S get back to the basics people in starting this new year off!!! If you want to have a meaningful life, if you want that peace back that you once had, you’ve got to get your relationship back with God. Remember when you used to wake up praying to Him? Do you remember when He was number one in your life? Do you remember when nothing or no one else even came close to His place? You’ve been hurting, you’ve been empty, you’ve been going around and around in cirlces trying to find peace of mind and you’re self-destructing. You’re killing yourself!!!!

How do you recover? Go back to what once worked!!! Have you forgotten Him?
Talk to Him tonight and tell Him you want it back…He’s waiting for you.

just checked your comment. yeah I agree their relationship wont end on that note since they can have maids, but overall for men they can grow tired of women’s faults especially when you start living in a house with them.
