New Young Jeezy With Jay Z Song

Via Consequence Of Sound reports:

Since announcing plans to release his fifth studio album back in September, Jeezy hasn’t shared much beyond a few teaser tracks and the album’s scope. “This is my street origins,” he said in a recent interview. “This is probably my first album where I can explain and let niggas know where I stand. In layman’s terms, the statute of limitations is over with.”

Tonight, the follow-up to 2011’s TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition finally receives a title and release date: Seen It All will hit stores on September 2nd via Def Jam Records. To accompany the announcement, Jeezy has unveiled the album’s title track, which features none other than Jay Z. Purchase it now over at iTunes, or stream it below.

Jeezy and Hov are no strangers to one another, having teamed up in some way on a number of tracks, including “Go Crazy”, “Real As It Gets”, “I Do”, and the “I Put On” remix. As such, they’ve found a way to sync their styles in a rather organic manner, as both spit rhymes that balance braggadocious wordplay with a little depth and insight into their shared origins. There’s not quite as many standout zingers or one-liners as one might expect from a Jay track, but it’s still fun to hear him link up with an emcee he most definitely respects.
