Rev. Run and Justine’s wish was granted when Miley Justine Simmons’ adoption was finalized in September. The American-born baby was 1-month old when she joined the clan.

It’s good to adopt children from poor nations. It’s even better to not overlook those in your own backyard. Congrats to them!

I’m so happy for them! They went though a lot of heart-ake when they lost the last baby. They seem to be a loving family, and I know this is a blessing for them. God Bless.

Eczema doesn’t affect the skin of the lips. Most Black and Hispanic kids have some type of it, expecially ones that grow up in a cold climate. I had it and grew out of it completely at like 13 or 14. A little Eucerine and non sented lotions and soaps help keep away flares but like I said, it’s nothing to feel sorry for someone about lol.

And, what I do know is IT DOESN”T AFFECT THE LIPS and that little boys lips ARE always ashy. Thats from constantly licking them because they are constantly dry because he is dehydrated because he doesn’t take in enough water and licking them just makes the dryer and raw.

He just needs water and chapstick and hell be fine.

@*****THAT….NO, what are you talking about….yes Eczema does affect the lips and mouth area…and yes we do live in a cold climate: my nephew was prescribed cream that does work if it is used and applied!. he also takes oral medication for it as well…so I don’t know what the *****k you R talking about or what kinda Dr. you know that said some ***** like that…

They seem to be a wonderful family. So refreshing to watch them. The last tv family I remember that had such values was the Evans Family – DY-NO-MITE!!

God bless them that they are giving an unfortunate child a better life – regardless of where the child comes from. And may God bless Angelina & everyone else that provides a happy, healthy, safe life for a child that probably would not otherwise have had one.

Every adoption from everywhere is a good thing if the parents love care and commit to the child. Bringing one child from a different part of the world does not negate children in this country or vice versa. There are many personal reasons people from the U.S. travel to other countries to adopt not least of which are arcane and sometimes punitive (to adopters) laws and a more tragic and widespread level of poverty. Please do yourself a favor and travel and read and do some volunteer work outside of the west. I usually enjoy reading and lurking on this site but that comment has turned me away permanently. However, congratulations to Simmons family.

Are the Simmons’ not the Huxtables of the new millineium? I love this family to death! I like all the kids, and Rev Run is a great father/friend to all of them. Justine fits right in as the “*****istant coach”, as she has self-proclaimed herself! Lil’ Miley is a cutie pie, and I’m sure when she gets some age to her, she will fit right in with them!
