Creflo Dollar and Bishop Eddie Long are two among six televangelists that are under investigation for alleged financial wrongdoing by the Senate Finance Committee. The Senator of Iowa is requesting expense information from the ministries this week.

Via Associated Press:

“I’m following up on complaints from the public and news coverage regarding certain practices at six ministries. The allegations involve governing boards that aren’t independent and allow generous salaries and housing allowances and amenities such as private jets and Rolls Royces. I don’t want to conclude that there’s a problem, but I have an obligation to donors and the taxpayers to find out more.”

Preacher dissing Creflo: The Gospel of the “bling Bling, preachers and rappers are saying the same thing, get rich or die trying”.

“Your offerrings, sorry I mean Jesus has blessed me with millions and he can do it for you too”

When the reporter talks about his crib being passed around on the net, wonder where they got that from?

“President Bush is worthy of your prayers and support. He is a man who rises early every morning to seek God and His wisdom through prayer and the study of the Word. This is not the time for Christians to picket, carry protest signs or throw their opinions around. The election is over, and the man in the Oval Office is the one we, as Americans, voted in. Numbers 32:7-13 makes it clear how God feels about a nation divided during a time of war.”

“In the name of Jesus, I declare that I will not allow any corrupt communication to proceed out of my mouth concerning President Bush or others in leadership (Ephesians 4:29). “

“I declare that he is a man of wisdom, and he is strengthened and guided by the Holy Spirit. I wholeheartedly support the decisions he makes for this country (1 Timothy 2:1-2). “

Creflo sounding like he is looking for some more federal tax breaks. Creflo sounds like the slavemaster and his House Negro helper on the plantation justifying slavery with the Bible. Someone blinging like Creflo probably wants to maintain this world’s order. Although I can barely understand what this preacher is saying sometimes, he rides against Creflo here.

LMAO@this preacher talking about co-ed volleyball. SMH at his little church with those rusty chairs with crooked legs. SMH@ at the preachers hype man with the Bible. Wonder if he was blinging like Creflo Dollar would his sermon be the same.

Damn, preaching is paying very well these days. Apparently, 100X more than the President of the United States which is “only” $400,000 a year, something a “mega preacher” would look down on these days.

“Mr. Dollar’s salary is set by a compensation board at the Georgia church, but he declined to reveal it. He also declined to say how much of his salary and fees he donates back to the church, except to say that he is one of the church’s biggest givers.

He and his wife live in a million-dollar mansion in Atlanta that is owned by the church. He has said that his two Rolls-Royces were gifts from congregants. But shortly after he started the New York church, he and his wife, Taffi, purchased a $2.5 million apartment in the new Time Warner Center on their own.”

LMAO at Dollar bragging he is one of the “biggest givers” in the church. Your just giving the poor people their money back. SMH

Look what Jesus did for me and he can do it for you too! Creflo also stunts with a private jet, Rolls Royce, and a $2.5 million dollar Manhattan apartment.

Creflo has some good taste, this is a nice ass crib.

Creflo clearly had a rendezvous with a destiny of money with a name like “Dollar”. Wall Watchers, an evangelical organization that monitors the finances of Christian ministries, gave Mr. Dollar’s organization an “F” grade for financial transparency in its yearly report and urged donors not to give to it and similar groups.
