Talk show d**khead supreme Don Imus is up to his usual tricks again. Check out this exchange between ignorant Imus and one of the on air flunkies as they talk about NFL star Pacman Jones.

Wolf: “Defensive back Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, recently signed by the Cowboys. Here’s a guy suspended all of 2007 following a shooting in a Vegas night club.”

Imus: “Well, stuff happens. You’re in a night club, for God’s sake. What do you think’s gonna happen in a night club? People are drinking and doing drugs, there are women there, and people have guns. So, there, go ahead.”

Wolf: “He’s also been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005.”

Imus:”What color is he?”

Wolf:”He’s African-American.”

Imus: “Well, there you go. Now we know.”

Spoken like a true jackass. No one was buying that fake apology from this dried up bigot in the first place. He was, is, and will always be a racist fool. It’s time for Imus to get booted of the airwaves for good.

Damn, it’s only been 2008 for a little over a week and they are still getting out of pocket with the comments. Golf Channel’s Kelly Tilghman has now apologized for her recent comment on how young golfers should “lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley.” Here is what the ho had to say:

“I have known Tiger for 12 years and I have apologized directly to him. I also apologize to our viewers who may have been offended by my comments. I can assure you that there was never any intention to offend anyone. I’m sorry for any misunderstanding.”

Sure. There’s never no intention to offend.  The Golf Channel states that she will not be punished for the comment. Don Imus is probably somewhere pissed.

Comedian Karith Foster had a chat with Essence and discusses her new job working with shock jock Don Imus:

Essence.com: What is it really like to work with Imus?

K.F.: He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. He does have the grumpy old man demeanor. I’m not saying that is not who he is. That is definitely part of who he is. But he is definitely a very kind, gentle person. If I hadn’t seen that side, if I wasn’t aware of that side, then I don’t think this would be a position I would have considered. Our very first discussion—ever—was about the Rutgers situation and what he had said and my feelings about it. I’ve been in the comedy business for about ten years, and you (develop) a gauge for people; you can tell who is BSing you after the show. This man was truly, genuinely sincere and regretful for the hurt that he caused people. In that conversation he said he always made it a policy not to make fun of celebrities’ children or public figures and so forth because that’s not fair. And that (his comment) was wrong. Continue »

Don Imus went back on the radio today and has two new nappy-headed sidekicks. Comedians Tony Powell and Karith Foster joined him and will be discussing race relations among other topics on the show. Imus also made a statement for the ladies of the Rutgers Basketball team:

“I will never say anything in my lifetime that will make any of these young women at Rutgers regret or feel foolish that they accepted my apology and forgave me. And no one else will say anything on my program that will make anyone think I did not deserve a second chance.”

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Don. We bet he would say pretty much anything to get his ass back on the air.

Too Short on Don Imus using his ‘nappy headed hoes’ comment:

The Imus thing was jokes, it was a hateful joke but it was jokes, it didn’t bother me that much because I throw the word hoes around myself, it wasn’t really a bad thing to me, so I can understand him getting back on the air, I really do.

In looking back at Too Short’s music, we wouldn’t expect him to be defending women who look like his mother. SMH.
