We also discuss his fashion designer wife, Rachel Roy, and why his social networking site, Block Savvy, hasn’t really jumped off yet.

Damon Dash discusses how he met his wife and his social networking venture, Block Savvy. Dash speaks on why America Magazine and Damon Dash Music Group didn’t jump off. Speaking on Jay-Z still putting out albums, he says you have to know when to quit.

Damon Dash recently sold his plush Beverly Hills crib for $3.8 million and some are speculating whether he is raising some much needed cash for his Hollyweird movie projects and his wife’s money losing fashion line. Back in May, the New Post speculated that Damon Dash’s finances were in trouble.

Someone get Joe Camel on the phone and remind him who helped get the ROC off the ground, the homie needs some help. Rachel Roy is getting her Kimora on and probably is on her way out. Here is are pictures of the sick Beverly crib.

Damon Dash is sueing his accountant for botching his tax returns for 2000, 2001, and 2002. The celebrity accountant, Barry Klarberg, wrote a book where he said:

“It is possible for some entertainers and athletes to be living high on the hog one day and down with the hogs the next”

Mr Biggs, Wesley Snipes,and now Dash, why can’t anyone find a decent accountant?

Damon Dash was spotted over the weekend at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. It looks like he wants everyone to know he is a creative film producer. We are hearing good things about his new film ‘Weapons’ which stars Nick Cannon. Maybe Joe Camel is not the only one who can prove that the success at Rocafella can be replicated solo. I’ll tell you what I mean by tension. I wasn’t anticipating not having Roc-A-Fella Records. Jay was presented with a choice of going and doing what he wanted to do by himself, which was cool with me. But he came back with “I want to do my own thing, but I also want the brand and Idon’t want Jay, Damon and Biggs now.” That one threw me off because I wasn’t expecting that.

AllHipHop.com: Was that just a straight show of disloyalty?

Dame Dash: Well you can call it how you see it.

Jay’s a Black man, an African-American, and I wish any African-American good luck. It’s not diplomacy, it’s about the fact that as a culture, we don’t stick together, and that’s the problem. So even if somebody’s scumbagging me, I’m not gonna scumbag them back. I want that dude to be successful so that he can be another ambassador of our community, so that people can say “Oh, a Black kid did his thing.”

A panel of judges has shot down hip-hop mogul Damon Dash’s bid to ship a sensational multimillion-dollar sex-assault case against him down to Brazil. “I’m sure he’d love to bury this case in some little outpost down there, but now he’ll have to deal with this in the New York courts,” said Raoul Felder, the lawyer for the plaintiff, Kristie Thompson. Dash’s lawyer, Robert Kalina, declined to comment. The $15 million lawsuit says the assault took place on Jan. 1, 2003, after Thompson had met Dash at a New Year’s Eve part on the island of Angra off the Brazilian coast. Dash, who has denied the allegations, was never charged criminally. Thompson filed suit against Dash, 35, in 2003. He sought to have the case moved to Brazil, arguing that it was the site of the alleged attack. The state Appellate Division court sided with Thompson, finding both she and Dash “live and work in New York,” as do many of the proposed witnesses.

Without Joe Camel money coming in anymore, $15 million would probably break Damon Dash’s bank. What is Damon Dash without Joe Camel and money? This question may pop up on a SNL skit…..Damon’s Kiddies, Damon’s Kiddies.
