3 people were questioned by one-time in Miami today over the murder of Sean Taylor:

Earlier, detectives detained two teenagers and a man in his 20s in Lee County for questioning in the death, and cops have identified two others in connection with the case, although no one has been charged. Investigators believe some of the young men had been to Taylor’s house recently for a birthday party and that may have set the stage for the subsequent decision to break into the home of the National Football League star.The suspects include 17- and 18-year-olds and a 21-year-old. All hail from the Fort Myers area.

The former University of Miami star was not supposed to be home at the time of the break-in. While the Redskins played in Tampa, he had come home to get a second medical opinion on his injured knee.

Taylor’s girlfriend, Jacki Garcia, and his family have been camped around his crib this week.

Sean Taylor’s gunshot wound leads to death as he passed away early this morning:

MIAMI —Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor died early Tuesday, a day after he was shot at home by what police say was an intruder. He was 24. Family friend Richard Sharpstein said Taylor’s father told him the news around 5:30 a.m.

“His father called and said he was with Christ and he cried and thanked me,” said Sharpstein, Taylor’s former lawyer. “It’s a tremendously sad and unnecessary event. He was a wonderful, humble, talented young man, and had a huge life in front of him. Obviously God had other plans.”

He said Taylor died early Tuesday at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where he had been airlifted after the shooting early Monday.

MySpace pages of the Sean Taylor murder suspects may be used in their prosecution. MySpace is starting to be reporters and companies “go to” spot for information on young people. A detective in Miami commented on the MySpace page of suspect Jason Mitchell:

These pages “are part of the street culture, bragging about money, drugs, guns…a lot of the kids want to portray a gangster lifestyle and they want to portray this on their MySpace”.

Myspace is fast becoming the best spot to “snitch” on yourself. Your boss is probably looking at your sh*t right now.

Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor is in critical condition after being shot in his Miami home early this morning. The reports are pretty vague on what went down, but apparently he was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital and didn’t know what part of his body was injured. Taylor’s family asked that information about his condition remain undisclosed.

Update: Sean Taylor passed away this morning after being shot in the leg yesterday. He was 24 years old.
