That no-good Magic Johnson who turned his back on Obama in favor of that shady Hillary and stacks recently had this to say to the Wallstreet Journal:

WSJ: Does the fact that we have a black president-elect mean it will be any easier for black entrepreneurs to borrow money for investment in urban areas?

Mr. Johnson: I don’t think it will be easier. What will happen is that people will look more at us. The world’s eyes have been opened to the idea that minorities can play at any level, including the highest level. It remains to be seen if banks and financial institutions will invest more with minorities. But you need a solid plan and everything that everybody else has. You can’t come in if you don’t come in right. You have to show a return on investment, how they’ll make money from investing in you. Nothing changes there. African-Americans may be more fashionable now – that’s how trends start. You win a championship, and people want to copy your strategy. We’re going to be in now. But it won’t be any easier, no

Obama Gives Bush Appointees Da Boot

Team Obama has issued a memo to that corrupt crew of Bush flunkies – “Pack your ish and roll the f*k out”:

The incoming Obama administration has notified all politically-appointed ambassadors that they must vacate their posts as of Jan. 20, the day President-elect Barack Obama takes the oath of office, a State Department official said. The clean slate will open up prime opportunities for the president-elect to reward political supporters with posts in London, Paris, Tokyo and the like. The notice to diplomatic posts was issued this week.

Barack and them ain’t playin’ with these irrelevant fools. Change has finally come. In other Obama-related news, Perry County Alabama has declared that every 2nd Monday in November will hereby be “Barack Obama Day.” Now that’s an appropriate tribute, unlike this foolery.

Condi’s Royal Performance

Britain Queen & Condoleezza Rice

As she’s winding down her national duties, Condoleeza Rice took the time to give the Queen of England a private concert:

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice performed in a piano quintet Monday night for Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. Rice played Brahms’ Op. 34 with British Foreign Secretary David Miliband’s wife, Louise, on violin, and three members of the London Symphony Orchestra.

The queen gave Rice an audio recording of the performance as a gift. Rice is a classically trained pianist who had expressed a wish to play at the palace.

How fitting. One final shuck and jive before she steps down. Good riddance to you Condi.

Clinton 2008

Bill Clinton says he’ll take the “hands off” approach while wife Hillary acts as Obama’s Secretary of State:

“I’ll just try to be a helpful sounding board to her, but I don’t think I’ll do any more than that,” Clinton [said]. “If she is going to be secretary of state and I operate globally and I have people who contribute to these efforts globally, I think that it’s important to make it totally transparent,” he said.

He better make his dealings transparent. We don’t want to here about any funny business going on while Obama’s in office. With the way those shady Clinton’s behaved while on the campaign trail, we wouldn’t put it past them to be on some jealousy sabotage sh*t over the next 4 years.

BARACK ON EBONY

Ebony has landed Barack Obama’s first print interview as President in a special collectors edition:

He did it! Barack Obama has rightfully earned the historic title of President-elect! Ebony magazine conducted the first interview and photo shoot with Mr. President since his Nov. 4 victory. The exclusive interview is the centerpiece of Ebony magazine’s January 2009 special collector’s edition, which chronicles the rise of Barack Obama to one of the most powerful positions in the world.

“We won because the American people mobilized for change. We had a great campaign, great volunteers, great staff. But it really was people at a grassroots level who carried our campaign financially, who carried it organizationally, and we don’t want that to dissipate,” Obama said during a
Nov. 13 exclusive interview.

The historic issue, which will include never-before-seen pics of Obama, will hit the stands on December 9th. And naturally, ABC news relic Barbara Walters plans to name Barack “The Most Fascinating Person of the Year” on on her Thursday night special.

Yes We Did!!!!!

Shout out to Jeannine!

Obama Names Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State

The shady, “Slick Willie”, has cut a deal to make sure Hillary gets a spot in Obama’s cabinet:

INDIAN WELLS, Calif., Nov. 29 — Former president Bill Clinton has agreed to make public 200,000 donors to his presidential library and foundation as part of an agreement with President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team designed to allow his wife — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton — to be named secretary of state, according to two sources familiar with the arrangement. The former president has also agreed to allow the State Department and, potentially, the White House to vet his personal business interests and speeches so as to avoid potential conflicts of interest, according to transition officials. The outlines of the deal cut by Obama and the Clintons emerged in the last week as it became increasingly clear that the New York senator would be named secretary of state. The transition team said the president-elect will make the announcement Monday in Chicago. Bill Clinton has long resisted calls to make public the donors to his library and foundation, insisting that he has complied with all federal laws governing the disclosure (or lack thereof) of the contributions and the contributors to the foundation.
During the primary fight between Obama and Hillary Clinton, the Illinois senator’s campaign described his opponent as a “veteran of non-disclosure” — using the donors to the library as a cudgel in the argument.

Obama has do to what he has to do for the betterment of our country. Word just in…it is official. Hillary is the new Secretary of State.

ABC Presents The Obama’s

Posted by Bossip Staff

Looks like talk show dinosaur Barbara Walters will have the pleasure of interviewing the soon to be President and First Lady:

The Barack Obama media tour is making another stop — and at another high-profile place. A week after the president-elect and first lady-elect Michelle Obama spoke to “60 Minutes,” they’re sitting down for an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters. It will air as a one-hour special Wednesday night on ABC.

The interview will touch on the transition, economy, foreign policy and how the family is dealing with the immense change in their lives, says ABC. Walters will do the interview late in the day in Chicago, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The television network hopes that the Obama interview will be as much of a ratings success as the Obamas’ interview with “60 Minutes” two Sundays ago that gave the newsmagazine its best ratings in years. Parts of the interview will also air on “Good Morning America,” “World News” and “Nightline.”

Yeah, the ratings are guaranteed to be high for this jawn too, but let’s hope the old bag keeps it relevant, which means no more questions about the Obama’s getting a mutha-effin’ dog. A hint of what’s to come is on the flip Continue »

Meet The New Whitehouse Social Secretary

Posted by Bossip Staff

Obama continues to make history:

Prominent Chicago businesswoman Desiree Rogers will be named the White House social secretary, according to a series of news reports. The 49-year-old Harvard MBA will be the first African-American to hold the post.

Rogers, 49, is a friend of Michelle and President-elect Barack Obama’s, and a leader in Chicago corporate and civic circles; her appointment signals that the first couple consider the job crucial to how they introduce themselves to the country and the globe. She was a major fundraiser for Obama.

According to news reports, Barack Obama will also introduce his economic team later today. He’s doing us proud. Obama done swooped down and grabbed the reigns like a true maverick. Lawd knows we need the change – in every way.

And he still makes time for us regular folk. Dig Obama during a recent visit to Manny’s Coffee Shop & Deli in Chicago.
