Juanita Bynum will go on “Divorce Court” this week to end her marriage with Bishop Thomas Weeks III who gave her a real good tail whooping back in August:

Televangelist Juanita Bynum says in a two-part episode of “Divorce Court” that she’s through with her marriage to minister Thomas W. Weeks III, who is on probation for assaulting her.

In episodes scheduled to air Thursday and Friday, Bynum also says she had thoughts of suicide and weighs in on a case involving domestic violence. When asked what advice she had for women in situations similar to hers, she said, “I have to make a decision … to take the love that I had for him with me. I was just trying to make it work because I don’t like losing relationships,” Bynum told Judge Lynn Toler, who hears cases on the syndicated show distributed by Twentieth Television. “All of this just kept getting swept under the rug … So you begin to adapt to a very wrong and very unhealthy marriage.” Continue »

Wayne Brady is officially divorced:

The 35-year-old comedian has been living separately from his wife, Mandie, for four years, but the couple’s divorce was just finalized this week. According to papers filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the pair married in April 1999 and officially separated in April 2006, citing irreconcilable differences. They have one daughter, 5-year-old Maile Brady.

”Mandie is my best friend. We still love each other and we are raising our beautiful daughter Maile together as a team,” Brady said in a statement issued by his publicist.

The couple used a mediator to arrive at a final divorce settlement. Details about their child custody, child support and property-division arrangements were not made public.

They kill us with that so and so is my best friend BS. If ya’ll were such great friends than why didn’t this ish work out? He knows he probably can’t stand her ass.

Jasmine Guy is filing for divorce from her husband of 10 years:

Actress Jasmine Guy has filed for divorce, Los Angeles court documents show. The former A Different World star cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split from her husband Terrence Duckett. The couple, who are both 46, were married for nearly 10 years. Guy is seeking physical and legal custody of their 9-year-old daughter, Imani, with visitation for Duckett. She is also requesting that the court deny any spousal support to Duckett, but is asking it from him.

Hmmm…either they divorced on good terms or they are creepin with each other trying to rekindle the flame. Shaquille O’Neal and ex wife Shaunie appeared to be ‘coupled up’ at the Muhammad Ali event this weekend in Arizona.

After the divorce back in September, and being seen with this broad last week, it’s interesting to see these two together. Looks like the personal trainers and jumpoffs still can’t mask the love.

It’s about damn time they finalized this ‘divorce’:

Kimora Lee Simmons filed for divorce from her estranged husband, Russell Simmons, in Los Angeles County Superior Court Tuesday. In court papers, Kimora, 32, cites irreconcilable differences and asks for legal and physical custody of the couple’s two daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. She requests that Simmons, 50, get “reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.

Blood Diamond’s reply to the whole issue:

“Although I haven’t read the papers, I’m excited for closure on this issue. I love her to def and I will always wish her happiness and success.”

Clearly he’s got a piece of that Yoga-ass, so he’s good to go.

Star Jones is getting rid of her suspect fella:

“They hadn’t been seeing eye to eye for months and had already spent a great deal of time apart. Finally, Star decided it was over. She told Al at the end of January that he had 30 days to get his act together or ‘get out. Star is planning to divorce Al. I think Star felt Al had spent their marriage riding her success while she did all the heavy lifting. She resented it. Deep down, Star is a very old-fashioned woman who believes a man should support her emotionally, physically and financially. She now believes Al failed her.”

Damn, it took her all that time to figure out that obvious sh*t. Hopefully, next time she will marry a heterosexual.

More and more reasons of why the suspect couple’s split keep pouring in…now they are saying that Eddie got crazy towards the wedding:

Tracey Edmonds broke up with Eddie Murphy right before they were about to make their Bora Bora wedding legal because Murphy became bossy and physically intimidating, and insisted his mother accompany them on their honeymoon. “That was kind of the last straw,” said a friend of the beautiful bride. “She was happy to sign a prenup — she has her own money. She was very accommodating. But then it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Eddie became very controlling and they got into a huge fight. He started screaming at her and grabbed her. She was scared.” The friend added, “She was even willing to change her name to Tracey Murphy, and all the wedding invites and place cards had her labeled as such.”

They can keep the reasons coming, but we all know the truth. Eddie and Johnny just need to tie the knot and get it over with.

Tracey Edmonds attempt to get in where she fit in in regards to her career game failed. Obviously she was just marrying Eddie for money and other conveniences and it’s now coming out that their nuptials never happened because Tracey refused to sign a pre-nup. We guess Eddie is not as dumb as he looks.

“When it came down to the legal marriage, Tracey wouldn’t sign a prenup.”

Poor thang. Now she will just have to find another sucker to wed. We’re sure it won’t be too hard, all she has to do is put that nice juicy rack on display.

The National Enquirer is reporting that this suspect wedding was a fiasco from the jump:

Eddie, 46, and Tracey, 40, invited only family members and a few close friends to celebrate their union, “but it was as if their families hated each other on sight…” Eddie’s mother felt Tracey was a “gold digger,” says the friend – and Tracey’s mother felt Eddie wasn’t “good enough” for her daughter. “The mothers didn’t even want to sit next to each other – even to eat – and it led to both sides of the family squaring off.” According to the source, the situation escalated from an uneasy tension to outright confrontation that included “yelling and cussing.” And this was even before Eddie and Tracey took their vows!

Sounds like some straight FUBU ish right there. SMH.

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds released joint statement about their split to the press:

“After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further,” the statement said.

“While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends,” it added.

Tracey Morgan’s wife Sabina has filed for divorce citing that the comedian’s alcoholism has ruined their marriage:

“I have to divorce him. I still have feelings for him, but the marriage is over. “I’m having my lawyer file the divorce papers. I gave him every opportunity since August to stay in the marriage, but he’s failed. It’s terrible that he’s drinking again. He knows he shouldn’t be doing that for so many reasons, his health especially.”

Twenty-two years of marriage gone over some booze. Hopefully Tracey can get it together.

A judge ordered New York Giants sack leader Michael Strahan to pay his ex-wife $15.3 Million, more than half his net worth while holding Strahan to his end of the pre-nup. NFL Great, Jerry Rice, and his wife Jacqueline have called it quits. According to the local media in Frisco:

Looks like 49ers great Jerry Rice may be about to jump from TV’s “Dancing With the Stars” to “The Bachelor.”

Records on file in San Mateo County family court show that the ex-wide receiver’s wife, Jacqueline Rice, filed for dissolution of the couple’s marriage back in June, and they are due back in court in mid-January.
