“Singer Whitney Houston has filed for divorce from husband Bobby Brown. Houston’s rep Nancy Seltzer confirms to TMZ that Houston intends to file for divorce from Brown, and that filing for a separation is just a “legal technicality” on the way to divorce. Seltzer did not divulge any further details concerning where or when the filings were made, and calls to Brown’s lawyer were not returned.

Houston and Brown have been married for 12 years and have one daughter, Bobbi Kristina. “

THE new “mystery gal” of Giants sack king Michael Strahan is a sultry R&B singer, Stefani Vara . Pals of Vara, who is signed to Siri Records, say the two met through mutual friends and have been dating “two to three months . . . They are very low-key together. She goes to his games and they go to eat. She’s really happy. She really likes him.” According to an online bio of Vara, the Texas-born beauty “was blessed with a piercingly beautiful voice, model-like looks and an iron will to succeed.”

Michael gave an pre-game interview talking about his highly publicized divorce. Strahan seems to believe that all that coverage will not affect his reputation.

“It became a joke,” Strahan said about the coverage of the trial. “I just don’t get seriously worked up about that stuff. I mean, when you know what the truth is, somebody starts to say something else, or somebody starts to write something to make it seem a lot worse, or more scandalous, or even the fictitious stuff, you take it. You just say, ‘Good for you. I hope you sold what you need to sell in order to make your financial quota for the month.’”

Well I’m glad he is keeping his head up. But don’t be too confident we all know that the people of America love gossip and fans always remember.

Al Reynolds Visits High Profile Divorce Attorney (MediaTakeOut)

This rumor couldn’t have come at a worse time with all of her View drama. But an employee at the Chrysler Building told MediaTakeOut that her husband Al Reynolds came to visit a divorce lawyer. Reynolds visited the offices of the divorce law firm Blank Rome LLP, and saw attorney Stanford Lotwin. Lowtin is a high profile lawyer who has handled other celebrity divorces such as: Howard Stern, Donald Trump, Geraldo Rivera and Diana Ross. When Al was recognized by the employee he ran out of the building almost knoncking down a pregnant woman. I knew that marriage was a bit iffy.

Jean Strahan Accuses Michael of Playing for Other Team (NYPOST)

June 21, 2006 — A bitter Jean Strahan yesterday accused her estranged sack-star spouse of playing for the other team. Outside court, she said that after she and the Giant split in March 2005, he shared an “alternative lifestyle” with “his best buddy,” TV doctor Ian Smith.

“Michael moved in with Ian in his one-bedroom apartment for the next year,” she said, after the couple’s acrimonious divorce proceedings had ended for the day in Essex County Family Court. “You could say an alternative lifestyle sprouted,” she added…

The marriage of Eddie and Nicole Murphy officially ended Monday, court papers reveal.

The comedian will pay child support to his ex-wife, with whom he has five children. Their youngest daughter, Bella Zahra, is 3 years old. Their eldest, Bria, is 15.

Attorneys for Murphy had no comment. Nicole Murphy’s lawyers could not be reached.

Nicole Murphy, a 37-year-old former model, filed for divorce on Aug. 5 in Los Angeles after 12 years of marriage.

“The welfare of our children is our main concern and their best interest is our first priority,” Murphy, 44, said in a statement issued by his rep, Paul Bloch, after the filing.

The couple met in 1988 and wed in 1993.
