Check out the remix of Cassie’s “Official Girl” featuring Weezy. This one’s been getting mixed reviews but in the end – who really cares about talent anyway?

Ricky Ross and Fox Boogie are in love:

“They are in fact a couple. Rick Ross swept her off of her feet and this is gonna [be] the next Big Hip-Hop couple. They both are in love.”

Foxy Brown has grown close to Rick Ross’ family, his kids and his mother. In addition to their new romance, both Rick Ross and Foxy Brown are working on new music.

Come on, Foxy, we hope this is “true love” and not some fu*kin for publicity stunt.

Fu*kin For Tracks

Ne-Yo and Nicole Scherzinger hit up The Ivy yesterday for a lunch date or meeting or whatever you want to call it. We know Nicole’s little solo debut didn’t do that well, so she’s probably getting up with Ne-Yo for some “hits.”

Nicole probably threw that meal up as soon as she got back to her crib. Poor thang.

More pics of Ne-Yo and Nicole and Mel B and her K-Fraud coming up next… Continue »

Cassie on the Come-Up?

Cassie and Diddy Drinking

According to Diddy, Cassie is new and improved:

“Although pop star Cassie had a huge hit in 2006 with her single ‘Me and You’, critics and fans alike were appalled by her severe vocal challenges during a string of promotional performances on TV. Her label head, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, tells Billboard that Cassie has since stepped up her game and has songs on her sophomore album that will impress the haters.

Explaining Cassie’s poor performances during the promotion of her self-titled debut album, Diddy says: ‘I just don’t think she was ready. I think that we threw her into the spotlight without the artist development — that goes on with a lot of new artists. We pulled out, we took our time, we developed her for like, a year-and-a-half. People are just going to see her there and be like, ‘Wow, she’s really cocooned into a butterfly.’”

We’ll just have to wait and see on that one. So far, it looks like the f**kin for tracks approach is really working out for ole girl.

Mya No Longer Fu*kin For Tracks

mya.doggies3

After pushed back album after pushed back album, Mya is still trucking. With an upcoming role in Broadway’s “Chicago”, and doing good deeds for the doggies as a spokesperson for the Tour For Life, looks like Mya might have moved on from her days of “Fu*kin for Tracks”.

Good for her, it never seemed like the music thing was gonna take off for her anyway.

Cassie attended the premiere of her new movie Step Up 2:The Streets

last night in Hollyweird. Good girl Cassie, way to step up your career game.  If the acting thing doesn’t work out she can always fall back on the modeling, but stay away from the recording studio.

Disrespecting The Game

Here “Is It You?” from Cassie off the Step Up 2:The Streets soundtrack.

Some good ole fu*kin for tracks is credited with helping her stay in the game this long.

And the music industry stays wondering why they keep losing money. SMH.

jaheim765.jpg

One of our favorite artists, Jaheim, recently had something to say when asked about the popularity of Rihanna and Ciara:

AHHA: You definitely have a legion of devout fans, and you have had a certain amount of success. Yet there are some artists like say Rihanna and Ciara, who are arguably less talented than you are but seem to have achieved more mainstream success. Why do you think that is?

Jaheim: I don’t think they have more success than me. Some of those people you might not see next year. You never know who is on their knees doing what they have to do to get to the next step. You see, I’m not good at ass kissing.

Forget the fu*kin for tracks, all we want to know is when will Jaheim bring back the preacher suit look with the shag-fro?
