The Wallstreet Journal is reporting Jay-Z is in the final stages of closing a $150 million deal with Live Nation to finance all his future ventures including music, fashion, concerts, and his 40/40 club chain:

In what may be the richest in a string of recent deals with superstar musicians, Live Nation Inc. is close to a $150 million, 10-year deal with Jay-Z that would give the concert promoter a financial position in virtually every aspect of the rapper and entrepreneur’s career, according to people familiar with the matter.

The contract also calls for Live Nation to make advance payments to Jay-Z — whose real name is Shawn Carter — of $10 million for each of three albums, along with $25 million toward concert performances, and other advance payments and promises to cover certain costs totaling $50 million. The company is also to pay $20 million for music publishing and licensing rights. Live Nation would underwrite other of Mr. Carter’s business ventures in areas such as clothing, out of a fund of $25 million; in the past, Mr. Carter has been involved in clothing and nightclub businesses. In all, the agreement appears to be broader than the one the company reached last year with Madonna, which kicked off Live Nation’s recent deal-making spree. Irish rock band U2 also recently made a deal with similar, though not identical, components, and many major music stars have been rumored to be examining such arrangement.

Say what you want about Camel, he has set the real ‘blueprint’ for taking the mic game to the next level. All these little rappers in the game need to pay their respects.

We are also hearing rumors of a secret wedding going down Friday or Saturday. Pre-nup??

Prince is still making it rain on these hoes, receiving lavish gifts at other people’s birthday party:

Prince refused to go into his old pal Benny Medina’s 50th birthday bash at Medina’s Hollywood home last weekend until the host walked him in personally. Prince had to wait for a few minutes while Medina, a creator of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” was dragged off the dance floor. Later, in front of Ashley Olsen, Sanaa Lathan, Lionel Richie and Denzel Washington, Prince was given a $375,000, 5.04-carat vivid canary diamond ring by jeweler Pascal Mouawad.

Must be nice. We wonder what stilettos Prince rocked to the bday celebration.

Rihanna and Raven Symone are on US Magazine’s list of Ten Most Powerful Girls in Hollywood. Rihanna is labeled as the hitmaker and Raven Symone as the mini-mogul. Rihanna along with her success of “Umbrella” she discusses getting into film (big surprise) and her own business.

Mini-mogul is the right name for Raven. She banks $400 million on That’s So Raven alone and has many other business ventures as well. She is definitely a great role model for young girls, and is making it rain on them hoes for real.

Oprah has inked a deal with Discovery Communication to launch her own cable channel called OWN-Oprah Winfrey Network. Discovery Health Channel will evolve into OWN in 2009 and simulcast in High Definition. Someone needs to put this woman’s face on a $100 bill. She’s unstoppable.

It looks like Obama will definitely win today in New Hampshire, another poll from Reuters/ZOGBY was just released:

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (Reuters) – Democrat Barack Obama expanded his lead over Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire to 13 points as voting began in the state’s critical presidential primary, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Tuesday.

In other Obama news, traders in Europe are trying to come-up and are betting Obama will beat Hillary with online gambling websites. Bettings odds are now at 90% in favor of Obama for the New Hampshire election today.

This sh*t may already be over because the shady Clintons are banking on South Carolina to stop Obama. Here is the problem, over 50% of the democratic voters in South Carolina are Black and most know Clinton is as fake as Beyonce’s weave. Discuss….
