Amerie, who is known for randomly putting in her two cents has some advice for Britney Spears:

“I like her single Gimme More, but I think something with really high bursts of energy – something like my song Gotta Work – would have been cool for her. She needs to move more. I don’t really know her situation, but for myself I am not a drinker, I am not a smoker and I have never done drugs. I think that has a lot to do with keeping yourself on track. She wasn’t in the right place and the song went on my album. If she wants to do something I would totally be there. If we did I’m sure it would be great and a lot of fun.”

OJ’s friends have jumped on the snitchin campaign and he could face life in prison if convicted on his kidnapping charges.

It was double-barreled bad news for O.J. Simpson yesterday as two members of his alleged armed robbery posse struck deals with prosecutors to testify against him. Golfing buddy Walter Alexander, 46, agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy in exchange for his testimony about the Juice’s role in a wild memorabilia heist at a Las Vegas hotel Sept. 13. Co-defendant Charles Cashmore also agreed to testify that guns were “brandished” during the confrontation for a single felony charge of “accessory to robbery.” Prosecutors now have the one-two punch they wanted: witnesses placing two guns at the scene and a Simpson pal admitting the plan was hatched in advance. Melanie Brown has set a court date of November 14 of this year to make sure Eddie Murphy’s deadbeat ass takes care of little Angel Iris Murphy Brown. We all know that Eddie’s financial situation is more than enough to assist in taking care of this baby. He needs to man up and provide for his child. A friend of Scary Spice says that Eddie even refuses to see the baby. SMH.

Jermaine Jackson is unemployed and broke. He states, “I currently do not have any employment” and “I do not have any income from which to pay support.” This support is what is supposed to go to his estranged wife Alejandra Jackson who is the mother of two of his eight children, Jaffar and Jermajesty. Alejandra, who also has two teenage children from a previous relationship with Jermaine’s youngest brother Randy and has been living with Jackson’s mother Katherine for quite sometime, claims that she is broke as hell and only makes $81 a month.

$81 a month? Having kids that are siblings as well as cousins? Having a son named Jermajesty? Come on, that’s a reality show right there. Obviously, Jermaine and Alejandra aren’t up on that D-list game.

We are hearing reports that Tiny was also arrested with T.I. over the weekend for possession of drugs. Tiny was also confirmed to be at a strip club a day before the arrest cheerleading a big fight between T.I. and another ATL crew.

The couple that thugs it out together stays together.

What really went down in ATL?

Sources exclusively tell Bossip T.I. and his crew got into a big scrap Friday night at strip club ‘Body Tap’ and he told his bodyguard he wanted the guns he ordered delivered on Saturday. The bodyguard had already turned snitch for the Feds and they arrested T.I. when he tried to pick up his guns.

Diddy allegedly smacked someone up at a club in NYC last night over a woman:

His Diddyness was holding court with pals and bodyguards at Kiosk, on Spring Street, at around 3:30 a.m. when he got into an argument with an acquaintance, Steven Acevedo, over a woman, the sources told The Post’s Larry Celona. Acevedo told cops that the two stepped away from each other, but resumed exchanging heated insults minutes later and that an irate Combs then threw a classic syncopated one-two combo – hitting him in the face twice while screaming, “I’ll kill you, punk!”

Acevedo was left with a bloody nose and a fat lip, the sources said, and as he tried to get back at Combs, a bodyguard appeared to reach under his waist – as if for a gun. The beaten hip-hop scenester said he then went home, called 911 and filed a report. But later, reached at home, he declined to comment.

The “victim” may have been trying to pop at Cassie, we hear he is back on that.

On criticism:

“Certain people tell us that we are picking on the poor. Many of those who accuse us are scholars and intellectuals, upset that we are not blaming everything on white people as they do. Well, only blaming the system keeps certain black people in the limelight but it also keeps the black poor wallowing in victimhood.”

On raising children:

“All black parents can do right by their children, and all black children can succeed. There is no reason why not.”

“Use standard English when you have your kids together, not Black English. They’ll hear enough of that in the streets…Watch the movie My Fair Lady. All cultures discriminate against people who have not mastered the standard language, and when race is involved, it is all that much harder for a nonstandard speaker to feel competent or even at home in the culture.”

On the media:

“Some of the most negative images of African Americans on TV and in the movies seem to be the most popular among young people—black and white. With both good and bad media out there, you have to help select media for kids that will support their successes and suppress their urge to give up or drop out.”

On black men:

“Gangsta rap makes our young people tough, but not so tough they can walk through prison walls. It can jazz them about sex, but it can’t begin to make them a good father. No matter how often, or how publicly they grab their crotches, crotch-grabbing isn’t even going to get them a bus ride downtown.”

T.I. got into a big scrap last night at a strip club in Atlanta and now comes word he was arrested today after his crib was raided by ATF agents. The Feds found machine guns when searching his crib. He is not expected to perform at the BET Hip-Hop Awards tonight. Tiny attended the club last night and was probably too busy looking at the tail to notice a fight going on.

T.I.’s best friend was killed two years ago after T.I.’s entourage was dumped on and ran out of Ohio. We guess this wasn’t a good enough warning for him to fall back. SMH.
