Peep Erykah Badu in the newest cover of Veg News magazine. Also in the realm of Baduizms, Erykah blasts “haters” for criticizing her 3rd pregnancy by yet another dude:

“How dare you disrespect the queendom … and my children and my intelligence. I’ve never been so disgusted in all of my life,” the singer began in her rant.

“I am a great mother and caregiver to my two children, and to this world,” Badu wrote. “My children are two of the kindest and happiest people I have met … I am their doctor and their nurse, and even sometimes their mother and their father. After storming off the set on Friday, rumors are flying all around the web regarding Rocsi’s mysterious absence from yesterday’s episode of 106 & Park. Word is she has been suspended indefinitely, and Terrance could be on his way out too. Keri Hilson stood in for ole girl yesterday and received a bouquet of flowers from Terrance once she arrived on set (a token of apology meant for Rocs perhaps??). We’re curious to see how this particular brand of petty drama unfolds.

Rick Ross denies being a former rent-a-cop:

Recently, photos surfaced on the Net that depicted what appeared to be rapper Rick Ross wearing a correctional officer’s uniform. Now the Miami-based artist is speaking out against what he claims is the work of industry haters.

“My life is 100% real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples’ body.,” Ross said in a statment to AllHipHop. “If this s**t was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything?”

“I’m in the entertainment business and a lot of people who like to hate because I’m on top of my game,” he said. “Like I said before my life is 100% real. I live by this die by this. Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake.”

This 80 year old die-hard stripper, Tempest Storm, is a true relic:

“I don’t just get up there and rip my clothes off,” she says. Indeed, the 80-year-old burlesque queen takes her clothes off very slowly.

More than 50 years ago she was dubbed the “Girl with the Fabulous Front” and told by famous men she had the “Best Two Props in Hollywood.”

She has no plans to retire any time soon:

“No, no. I’m not ready to hang up my G-string, yet. I’ve got too many fans that would be disappointed.”

There ought to be a law about this type of thing. Who wants to watch a mummified heffah strip down in “slow mo’”? Yikes!

SMH how white folks got Michelle with the fro and giving Barack a pound. The idiots over at the New Yorker are getting real out of pocket:

The Illinois senator is depicted in traditional Muslim garb in the Barry Blitt illustration set in the Oval Office. His wife, Michelle, is in fatigues, sporting an Angela Davis-style sky-high Afro, an AK-47 slung over her shoulder.

“The New Yorker may think, as one of their staff explained to us, that their cover is a satirical lampoon of the caricature Sen. Obama’s right-wing critics have tried to create. But most readers will see it as tasteless and offensive. And we agree,” Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said.

New Yorker editor David Remnick seemed shocked by the backlash. “Our cover … combines a number of fantastical images about the Obamas and shows them for the obvious distortions they are,” he said in a statement. “The New Yorker may think, as one of their staff explained to us, that their cover is a satirical lampoon of the caricature Sen. Obama’s right-wing critics have tried to create. But most readers will see it as tasteless and offensive. And we agree,” Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said.

Obama brushed off the brouhaha. “I have no response to that,” he told reporters when asked about the cover, but his supporters are infuriated.

We all know how well versed our man Barack is at brushing off the bullshyte. You can always guarantee that he will show class and strength in the face of this kind of plain foolishness. Barack Obama ’08 – YES WE CAN!!!

Fonzworth Bentley is teaching cats from the street how to be more light on their toes – so to speak:

Tomorrow MTV and executive producer Jamie Foxx will debut their new reality show “From G’s to Gents.” “From G’s to Gents” is a reality competition in which 14 guys from the streets try to become the perfect gentleman under the tutelage Bentley, the man servant known for being Diddy’s eclectic, former personal assistant. The last man standing will be awarded a $100,000 cash prize.

Though one of the show’s producers, Chris Abrego, has had success with shows like VH1’s “Flavor of Love” and “Rock of Love,” Fonzworth says “From G’s To Gents” does not rely on cheap laughs. “I wanted to make sure that [it] wasn’t them throwing these guys into these situations and then laughing at them,” Bentley [said]. “This one is a much different show and it goes a lot deeper.”

Yung Joc finds himself back in the legal hot-seat again:

Rapper Yung Joc is going to hear it from an Atlanta company today which claims he took off with almost $25,000 of stereo gear. The rapper is due in court in Fulton County today to fight it out with the owners of Stereotypes, a high-end stereo outfit, who say that they put in a bunch of equipment in his whip last year, but got stiffed out of their fee. Joc was arrested last year for carrying a concealed weapon in Cleveland.

SMH at Yung Joc (allegedly) just riding off into the sunset with stolen goods. We don’t want to condemn the brotha, but with his track record, we wouldn’t be surprised one bit if he did the deed.
