Back in 2008, Luis Eduardo Ramirez Zavala was nearly beaten to death by six people and four of them happened to be police officers. He laid in a coma on life support before dying two days later.

The indictments, handed out by a federal grand jury last week, have racked up to three and include federal hate crime charges, along with conspiracy, extortion charges, obstruction of justice and official conduct, according to authorities.

Shenandoah Police Chief Matthew Nestor, Lt. William Moyer and Officer Jason Hayes have all been charged by federal authorities with conspiring to obstruct justice.

A boy was shot in the head and killed while walking down the street with his mom. The killing looks to be gang related:

New legislation in Uganda is proposing stricter rules on homosexuals in the country. A new law is under consideration that would enforce the death penalty for gays and imprisonment for their friends.

Family and friends of gays that fail to report them could face up to 7 years in jail and landlords could face jail time for renting to them as well.

Police arrested Carvett Gentles (pictured)16, Rohan Francis, 18; Cleve Smith, 20; Clivie Smith, 19; and Dwayne Taylor, 23, in connection with the incident that occurred on Monday involving the shooting of  Vada Vasquez 15, who was shot by a single bullet on Monday.
