Carmelo Kiyan Anthony (born May 29, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets, of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also played with the United States national basketball team. He went to Towson Catholic for high school and decided to go to Syracuse for college. Anthony’s NBA career began on June 26, 2003, when he was chosen in the first round (3rd overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft draft by the Denver Nuggets.

Carmelo and Lala have an annual event every year, during the holidays, where they provide food for families, so they will be able to have Thanksgiving dinner.

LaLa discusses the living situation and raising her son with Carmelo Anthony:

“I love my home and I’m happy here, but it gets a little overwhelming when it comes to decorating,” says LaLa. “At night, when I’m home by myself, this big house gets kind of scary and I lock me and my son in my room.” Although there are six bedrooms-one of which is reserved for Anthony’s clothes-it’s the couple’s private quarters that LaLa considers her safe haven; she uses candles to create a serene ambiance.
