Tyrese and Chilli actually look good together…

Tyrese proves that he’s not your average valentine as he teases fans for the release of his upcoming video, ‘Nothing On You’.In the minute and a half preview, his leading lady Chilli looks stunning as she wakes up (fully glossed) to rose pedals and a letter from Tyrese on her pillow. Although this seems as though this may turn out incredibly sweet, it’s really bad news wrapped in a heart-shaped box. It seems Tyrese has a romantic way of discussing their relationship issues, and he’s upset with Chili for thinking he’s cheating. “Good Morning Beautiful, I didn’t wanna wake you while you were sleeping. I got some things on my mind I’ve been wanting to talk to you about. Your insecurities are starting to run me away. If I really wanted to be with another woman, I would be,” he writes before carrying on about other problems that have arisen in the relationship.

Ladies, it’s a new year and you know what that means… time for a new man! And Tionna Smalls wants to help your single butt find the man of your dreams. But first, you have to read her book. “Be a bi**h and you will get hitched” is the philosophy that Tionna Smalls is teaching women to apply in their romantic lives to land a new boo thang in her book, “Men Love Abuse: The Guide to Losing the Image of Being the Nice Girl & Getting the Man You Want!”

Following up to her successful, award winning book, “Girl, Get Your Mind Right!” (HarperCollins, 2011), Smalls is tackling the issue of nice girls finishing last. “Men Love Abuse” is a honest book helping women become strong when dating a man by telling them not to call too much or to not to take any crap from a man. Smalls philosophy is, “be a bitch and you will get hitched.”

Men only understand strength, so if you want that guy, you better “abuse” him. Never the one to promote violence, Tionna uses the word “abuse” as a metaphor to treating guys not so nice.

The reader will leave feeling empowered and ready to take on any man they are dating or soon to date. The rules are fun and easy and Smalls breaks down the problems and solutions to any issue that may come up in a “ship” (friendship, courtship, or relationship).

…But who is still letting this woman write books and host dating shows while Chilli is still walking around as single as a dollar bill??

Ooooh on the TLC tip! To say we’re geeked about this news is an understatement.

Building off the success of the scripted movie “Single Ladies” and its follow-up hit series, VH1 is getting into the TV movie business with a series of scripted bio-pics featuring musicians and pop culture icons. The dramatic story behind the legendary ’90s R&B/hip-hop/pop trio TLC will be featured in the first TV movie for VH1 in this series. The two surviving members of the group, Chilli and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, have signed on as consultants and executive producers for the movie. Acclaimed screenwriter Kate Lanier (“What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “Beauty Shop) has signed on to pen the bio-pic.

The gifted trio TLC, which was comprised of Chilli, Watkins and the late Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, achieved instant commercial success with their first album, Ooooooohhh… On The TLC Tip in 1991 which sold over 6 million copies worldwide and spawned numerous Top Ten singles. But it was the release of their second album; CrazySexyCool in 1994 that elevated them to superstar status, that album sold over 22 million albums worldwide to date and propelled TLC to become the most successful female group in history. They went on to record Fanmail selling over 10 million albums and 8 Grammy nominations before Lopes’ untimely death in 2002.

Unfortunately, fame and success are often shadowed by pain and heartache and TLC certainly experienced their share. Tionne suffered from sickle-cell disease, Lisa accidently burned down her then-boyfriend and football star Andre Rison’s home in a moment of heated passion. The trio also suffered a very humiliating and public bankruptcy suit at the very height of their career success. This prompted them to hold a press conference about the ins and outs of accounting in the record industry to let the public know how this could happen to multiplatinum, Grammy-winning superstars when everyone assumed they must be extremely wealthy.
In the midst of what the ladies were experiencing as individuals, a public dispute between Lisa and her group-mates Tionne and Rozonda arose when she felt she had been all but cut out of their third album, FanMail. Fortunately, the ladies had patched things up and were working on their fourth album, 3D, when tragedy struck and Lisa was killed in a car accident while on a spiritual retreat down in Honduras. In a tribute to Lisa, TLC gave one final concert in June of 2003 at the Zootopia concert in New York’s Giants Stadium where Tionne and Chilli performed on stage to 60,000 fans in front of a video screen playing videos of Lisa performing the same songs right along with them.

Kate Lanier who has penned numerous scripts featuring female protagonists including the hits “What’s Love Got To Do With It,” “Beauty Shop,” and “Set It Off,” will write the script for VH1.

“With the tremendous success of our scripted series ‘Single Ladies,’ we now know that viewers will come to VH1 for quality scripted projects. We’re eager to expand on that success with this bio-pic franchise that will allow us to explore our music, pop culture, and authentic storytelling strengths in yet another format,” said Jeff Olde, EVP Original Programming & Production, VH1. “We’re honored to collaborate with Chilli, Tionne and Bill Diggins in sharing their own personal story and TLC’s record-breaking legacy with VH1 viewers.”

“The reality of this brings me to tears because I am seeing one of my dreams come to life. I alwaysfelt our story had to be told. What makes it even more amazing is having Kate Lanier on board. I remember watching ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ with Lisa, and I knew then whoever wrote that story had to write ours. I will forever be thankful to Jeff Olde for believing in our story and going the extra mile to make it happen,” said Chilli.

“I’m just overjoyed. I appreciate Jeff Olde and everyone on staff at VH1 that took interest in us, thank you. Kate Lanier is amazing. I’m honored to work with her I love her art. Well here we go on another TLC ride and I can’t wait. Like Biggie said ‘Now if ya don’t know, now ya knowwwww,’” stated Tionne.

Jill Scott shocked more than a few folks on Twitter today when she asked her followers for their thoughts on open relationships and revealed that she’s considering taking part in one of her own. SMH!

Jill’s followers quickly objected to the idea and she responded and retweeted of their thoughts, but still continued the discussion.

Sounds like Jill isn’t gonna let anybody else’s thoughts on the subject dictate her personal feelings…

She’s been looking for perfection, does he fit the bill? Notoriously picky Chilli was spotted cozying up to Arizona Cardinals DB Kerry Rhodes at a Kentucky Derby event this weekend.

Wonder how he stacks up with her list of requirements? Well, it shouldn’t be too hard for her to find out. Kerry has been linked to a number of ladies in the spotlight, including:

UPDATE: Kerry Rhodes’ camp reached out to BOSSIP to deny any relationship between the two. According to a rep for Rhodes:

They are not dating. He was attending the Barnstable event during this weekend’s Kentucky Derby festivites and they happened to take a picture together on the red carpet. There is no relationship between the two.

This is truly a tragedy. Yesterday stylist to the stars Dariel Pulliam passed unexpectedly. He was only 27-years-old.

Close friends and stylist to VH1′s Tionna Smalls of “What Chili Wants 2″ and stars such as Keyshia Cole, it’s no surprise that Pulliam’s passing would cause such a ruckus.

Pulliam tweeted the following from his hospital bed on March 30th:

Pulliam was reportedly hospitalized for a staph infection two weeks ago.

Chilli, mostly known as one-third of the r & b group TLC, sat down with Madame Noire to talk about her search for love on her reality show “What Chilli Wants.” The pint-sized beauty opened up about everything from her relationship with Tionna Smalls, her feelings for Floyd Mayweather and why she has not cut down her “list.”

Chilli’s 2nd season of “What Chilli Wants?” airs on January 2, 2011, as she continues to look for love. She’s still not budging when it comes to the list that names everything she wants in a man… We’re not even sure if one of Jesus’ disciples would be able to win Chili’s heart. In a recent interview, Chilli speaks on her dream guy having a high sperm count… SMH!!!

“I can’t imagine bringing someone around my son who is not an extraordinary man. He already has an active father [ex-husband Dallas Austin], so whoever is going to be my husband has to be a good figure for my son and add to our family…
But with her biological clock ticking, Chilli admits she’s hoping to find a man soon because she wants more children. “I’m straight up and told all the guys this season I wanted kids. It probably made some of them nervous, but it shouldn’t. I just need to know if we’re on the same page or not because I want more kids.”

Chilli showed up at the Soul Train Awards showing off a new piece of arm candy. And him looked like he didn’t see anything but his Nubian princess.

Glad Chilli finally figured out what she wanted. This might be the real thing too: there were no VH1 cameras around.
