Kerry Washington is going from the big screen to the TV screen in your cozy little home. She stars as Oliva Pope in “Scandal”,a new show on ABC. Washington plays a sassy media relations consultant to the President. She leaves her role at the White House to start her own firm but for some reason keeps getting caught up in the White House drama.

This definitely looks and sounds like a good look for Kerry Washington and Columbus Short. When asked about going from the movies to TV, here’s what Kerry had to say:

“I was not looking to do a TV show, but I read this amazing script with this amazing woman named Olivia Pope, and it happened to be for TV and so I thought maybe I want to do something different. Once I read it, I wanted to do whatever I had to do to be a part of it.”

Columbus Short is being accused of knocking the f**k out of Jason Hill during a pick up game at L.A. Fitness in Los Angeles. Sources say the facility claims to not have any surveillance but if Columbus really did this to Jason’s mouth… that dude is nothing to play with!!!!

This video was sent to me by a friend of mine in Los Angeles. Apparently the guy we know from Stomp The Yard, was playing Fight The Court. A verbal argument broke out between the two at an L.A. Fitness center during a basketball game and in between the exchange of words, Jason Hill of CSUN was sucker punched by [Columbus] Short.

Unfortunately, from what I’m being told there is no video surveillance at the facility that could have recorded this. Hopefully someone has some kind of footage.

Columbus Short, you can tell us… Did you really bust this dude in the mouth like that?!?!?!?!?!?

Raven Symone hit up The Black Girls Rock Awards on Saturday in NYC to honor some prominent black women both known and unknown. Naomi Campbell, Janelle Monae, Queen Latifah and more were also on deck for the festivities.

BET Hip Hop Awards and The Garner Circle put together a Styling Suite for the celebs to roll through to pick up some free goodies the day before the show was taped. A lot of people rolled through but once we saw Columbus Short, we had to catch him for a second.

Bossip: What’s been going on, what do you have in the works right now???

Columbus: Right now, I am promoting the new movie I’m in called Armoured with Matt Dillon. Starting next month, we will start filming Stomp the Yard 2 and I will be one of the producers this time.

Bossip: Oh really, so we are going to miss some of that action we got from you the last time.

Columbus: Yeah since I will be working behind the scenes. We are bringing in someone else to play that main role but I might have to make a cameo appearance. [laughing]

Bossip: Who is someone that you would like to work with that you haven’t yet???

Columbus: Sean Penn is one of the people that I would like to work with.

Bossip: What would be the ideal role for you to play???

Columbus: That would be Martin Luther King, Jr. That is a role I definitely would be honored to do.

Bossip: Are you dating anyone in particular at the moment that you would like to share with us???

Columbus: [laughing] Nah, I’m not going to disclose that information, that’s personal.

Also, Tiny walked up in the building with this KOOL-Aid red hair. Even though that blonde was meshing with her light complexion, we don’t know exactly how we feel about this red.

Lance Gross put up a twit pic of himself during a photo shoot, and we must say Eva Pigford has a lot to work with.  Wouldn’t you agree ladies…

Lance Gross was also spotted kicking back solo all over Atlanta this past weekend.  He was spotted recently at the Grey Goose Vodka Celebrity Affair at Kai Lin Art Gallery looking pretty tasty along with Columbus Short.

Who knew Columbus Short from Stomp the Yard was a triple threat? Dancer, actor and now singer? Columbus Short is gearing up to drop his first album.

LiveSteez: How are you going to engage us on this album? What are you discussing?
Columbus: The name of the album is Act One: Dimes and Dolls. I grew up on Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly and Guys & Dolls. I love that time and era. I’m calling it Dimes and Dolls because that’s what I’m talking about. I’m talking about women and I’m talking about relationships and everything in between.

He’s so passionate and people don’t really know that he’s going in like he is. He’s about to do a film The Losers in Puerto Rico. He’ll be filming his video there as well.
