Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, and Denzel Washington were all honored in Germany for the Golden Camera awards:

U.S. actors Scarlett Johansson and Denzel Washington have received Germany’s most prestigious film award as best international actors. The 27-year-old Johansson said she was grateful that her work was also appreciated abroad as she received the Golden Camera Award late Saturday. US actor Morgan Freeman holds his trophy in the category “International Lifetime Achievement” during the 47th Golden Camera award ceremony in Berlin, Feb. 4, 2012.

Actor Morgan Freeman was awarded a trophy for lifetime achievement, which the 74-year-old called “a great honor,” German news agency dapd reported. The 47th ceremony of the Golden Camera Awards was held in German publishing house Axel Springer’s Berlin headquarters.

Denzel Washington is currently in Spain promoting his new film with Ryan Reynolds called “Safe House”:

When asked about how many of the stunts they performed, Denzel brought up how Reynolds gave him his first black eye in his life during a stunt for the film. “I’m in handcuffs and I’m supposed to reach over to try to choke him,” Denzel recounted. “It just so happens [that] I reach over as his head was whipping back.”

Although Reynolds gave Denzel a shiner, it certainly wasn’t on purpose, as he had some kind words to say about his legendary co-star. “He’s the best actor in the world,” Reynolds said. “I’m not kidding about that…The problem is that you get caught watching [him act] sometimes.”

When Denzel, who has played his share of “bad guy” roles, was asked whether he preferred to play the “bad guy” or the “good guy,” he said he doesn’t really think of his roles in those terms; however, he revealed that it is more fun to play the role of the villain.

“It’s cliché to say, but bad guys have more fun,” Denzel assessed. “You can get away with more…In playing a real character who’s heroic, you’re kind of stuck. There’s only so much you can get away with. But [the] bad guy can say anything.”

Rom-com queen or box office flop?

It looks like producers aren’t getting bang for their buck when it comes to Drew Barrymore, who was named Hollywood’s most overpaid actor by Forbes Magazine.

The actress, who has starred in one movie miss after another, brings in only $0.40 for every dollar she gets paid, the magazine calculated.

Chalk that “win” up to a string of film disasters, including 2010′s “Going the Distance,” which only raked in $42 million world wide, and the 2007 box office failure, “Lucky You,” which brought in $8 million.

Funnyman Eddie Murphy landed second on the list, bringing in $2.70 for every $1 he gets.

To compile the list, Forbes looked at the 40 highest paid stars in Hollywood who have made at least three films in the last five years.

The magazine then added up production budgets and divided by how much actors were compensated to come up with a return investment number for each star.

Other stars not pulling their box office weight were Will Ferrell ($3.50), Reese Witherspoon ($3.55), Denzel Washington ($4.25) and Nicolas Cage ($4.40).

Adam Sandler and Vince Vaughn also made the rankings, both of them raking in $5.20 for every dollar studios spent on them, and Tom Cruise, bringing in $6.35.

Actress Nicole Kidman rounded out the top ten, making $6.70 in returns.

That’s crazy, some of the folks on this list are well-respected actors and they don’t even draw in the price of one ticket per dollar they make. Wonder who would make the list of actors that make the studio the most money??

Sporting his finest Nike tracksuit and New Balance sneakers, Denzel Washington hit up an Atlanta nightclub this weekend — proving once and for all, dress codes are for poor people.

Denzel didn’t drink a drop — but sources at Reign nightclub tell TMZ, the actor picked up a $5,000 tab for his pals — who put down 5 bottles of Ciroc vodka, 5 bottles of Don Julio, and 5 bottles of Moët Rosé.

Denzel’s in town filming for a movie called “Flight” — and based on the perma-smile on his face, he’s having an alright time.
