According to TMZ reports:

Don’t worry about Dr. Dre’s kids … or Ice Cube’s … or Eazy E’s … ’cause they might have a future in film — playing their fathers in an upcoming N.W.A. flick.

The rap icon and his wife were outside Red O restaurant in L.A. this weekend when we asked about the rumor that they were all planning to put their kids in the movie.

Dre responded, “We’re talking about it … we’ll see what happens.”

FYI — Cube has been talking about making the movie for years … and now that he’s putting another “Friday” movie on the fast track … it seems it could be a while before the N.W.A. offspring get their shot at the silver screen.

Sorry Dre, but this thing can only go one of two ways…bad or worse!

As bad was we want to see this movie, it will only be credible if there are REAL actors playing the lead roles. We’re sure the kids could play the weed carriers or something…

Beats by Dre has been dominating the game since it stepped on the scene in 2008. Creators, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine, have just launched the 2011 Holiday Collection last week in NYC. Lately, a number of companies have tried to duplicate the Beats by Dre product and here’s what Jimmy Iovine has to say about it…

“You see all these rappers now with headphones – let them try – Dre is not a just a rapper. He’s a master of sound, which reflects in our products… So all these other rappers can try to introduce their own headphones. It doesn’t bother us at all. All it does is make us look better.”

Some of you may say that Jimmy Iovine is just playing favoritism towards his own brand but we can’t even lie… Beats by Dre allows you to hear music how it was meant to be heard! The way it was mixed and mastered in the studio. For more info on what the holiday collection will bring… keep reading:

2011 Holiday Collection:

New colors for the standard headphones — pink, orange, purple, blue and grey ($350, due in stores next week); a Beats Wireless Solo Bluetooth model (due next month, no price yet); the “Portable Beat Box,” with built-in bluetooth; and special DJ headphones (both due for the holidays, no price yet). They also announced a Beats by Dr. Dre pop-up store, which will be located on Mercer Street in Manhattan and will be open through the holiday season.

Forbes just dropped its Cash Kings list that showcases the top earning folks in the Hip Hop game. Here are the stipulations for the breakdown of the monies made in 2011 per person:

The Hip-Hop Cash Kings charts pretax earnings for all living artists whose work is primarily classified as hip-hop or rap. The estimates include income from record sales, touring, digital downloads, films, merchandise sales, endorsements, books and other entertainment ventures; management, agent and attorney fees are not deducted. Dr. Dre is really feeling himself and these headphones right now.

Dre, who’s apparently never dropping his Detox album despite his constant promises, is releasing his signature headphones in a chrome version that will cost $1,000. Is he serious right now? Asking for $300 for the headphones was bad enough, but this is ridiculous. There are only 50 available, so they think there are 50 people dumb enough to cop these. If there are 50 people buying these, the US needs another recession ASAP.

Looks like Dre is pulling out all the stops for his swan song, Detox

Jay-Z and wife Beyonce are back to making beautiful music together again.

No, the pair didn’t have a nasty fallout or any other marital differences nor are the tabloid rumors of them splitting hold true. An unknown source told British newspaper The Sun that Jay-Z and Dr. Dre recorded verses for an unnamed track for Dre’s upcoming final album Detox, and that there was space left in the track for Beyonce to deliver a chorus. This comes as big news as the megastar power couple has not recorded jointly since 2007 on Jay’s American Gangster album on the song “Pray.”

The full quote from the source read: “Jay and Dre have recorded their verses with the chorus left open for Beyoncé to sing. The producer has worked on Detox for over a decade. He wanted the couple together.” Jay and Beyonce have paired up on hits songs many times such as the Grammy winning “Crazy In Love” and the sweeping “Bonnie & Clyde” tracks.

Hopefully this song is better than some of Camel and Bey-Bey’s other collabs “Hollywood” (Kingdom Come) was ok, but we can’t take anymore “Bonnie & Clyde” (Blueprint 2) records…
