Word on the street is Fat Joe and Lorena Cartagena are calling it quits after 17 YEARS of matrimony-dom!

According to well-placed Bossip sources, for over a year now Lorena has suspected Joe of cheating with a specific young Indian-looking Muslim woman from Dubai. Pictures of the pair were sent to Lorena’s phone by a Terror Squad associate and eventually Lorena learned not only of places they’d slept together, but also that he was flying the chick all over the place… going so far as to accompany her in public — even to Knicks games!

Our source also confirms the longtime rumors of Joe being involved with “Love & Hip-Hop’s” Emily Bustamante, Fab’s baby mother.

Since dropping almost half of his body weight, Fat Joe has actually stepped up to become an advocate for poor health in the Hip-Hop community.

Too bad he’s not telling us anything we couldn’t have guessed or didn’t know. Like how big he used to be… and how he got that way, for example.

“The scale wasn’t big enough. I would say [I was] 400 pounds. If not 400, close to 400.” The 41-year-old star, who previously admitted he was scared into a drastic lifestyle overhaul after seven of his friends suffered fatal heart attacks in their 30s, now weighs in at 260 pounds.

Joe went on to compare his addiction to food to a drug addiction. “I don’t find it hard [to diet]. I’m addicted to food and I love to eat, but I don’t find it hard at all … It’s like a crackhead,” he claimed. he continued, “A crackhead just hits rock bottom and they realize they don’t wanna smoke crack no more, you know what I’m saying? So I just said to myself, ‘I don’t wanna be overweight no more, I don’t wanna be outta shape, I don’t wanna be at risk of passing away and stuff like that so I gotta do the right thing.’”

So what does Joe suggest to any fans who might have been motivated to follow in his footsteps?

“Be more active. I would say just walk,” the rapper advised. “If you’re a heavyset person, you’re not gonna be able to jump or run around or do crazy stuff, so just walk … for 20 minutes, 30 minutes with your headphones on, get your little walk on, walk with your friends and that’s it. 30 minutes. Try your best to stay away from the rice, the bread, the pasta, because that’s not our friend.”

That’s deep, Joe. Thanks for throwing that bit of unknown info out there.

We gotta start calling Fat Joe “Lean Backs” cuz he just went from 350 lbs to 260-something in nine months!

At 6’2 Joe once topped the scales at 423 lbs but on and off dieting over the years had whittled him down a bit, however he’s never been as successful as now.

“I’m addicted to food; I love food,” said Fat Joe, whose real name is Joe Cartagena. “It’s like a crack addict – he hits rock bottom and he says, ‘All right, forget it. I’m not going to get high anymore.’”

The rapper claims his weight loss motivation was as serious as it gets — he wanted to live. After losing seven friends in their 30′s to heart attacks last year, he wasn’t trying to be the next man on the slab.

“What’s the difference between me and them? Health doesn’t discriminate just because I’m famous,” the plus-sized South Bronx native said yesterday.

“I can’t leave my daughter behind,” he said of his five-year-old Azaryah. “I want to be here for her; I don’t want to die on her.”

Joe traded his diet of chicken and pasta for six small meals a day of fruit, veggies, lean meats and whole grains. He also followed an exercise regimen that included 2 hours of cardio and weights with a trainer.

“I was always LL Cool J in a fat guy’s body,” Joe says.

Earlier this week the rapper revealed his new look to fans by releasing a video for his song “Drop A Body.”

“They’re all trying to alter my name, but I can’t see myself as anything else,” he said, referring to friends who started calling him “Skinny Joe” and “Joey Flaco” (Spanish for “thin”). “I think I gotta ask Diddy what my new name is.”

Good job Joey — keep that weight off — we ain’t trying to see you go out like Pun either!
