The private homegoing celebration for rapper Heavy D. is being held today at Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon, NY. The event, which is currently taking place was reportedly so heavily attended that fire marshalls were unable to allow everyone to enter, but numerous celebrities, including Diddy, Flavor Flav and Chris Rock were in attendance at a public wake for the rapper which was held Thursday afternoon and evening. Despite the cold weather a line of fans wishing to pay their respects formed outside the church, wrapping around the building.

Heavy D, real name Dwight Arrington Myers, died of a suspected heart attack last week after the 44-year-old reportedly collapsed after walking up stairs at his Beverly Hills apartment building.

He’s scheduled to be buried on Friday in a private ceremony,

Diddy previously tweeted about his special connection to the dead rapper.

‘Heavy D is the person who gave me my first chance in the music industry,’he revealed.

‘He got me my internship at Uptown. He Believed when no one else did. My Heart is Broken. Pls pray for my man Heavy D and his Family. PLS #RipHeavyD love you Boy. 4ever’

The fact that Flavor Flav was a cokehead at one point in his life, we have no problem with. But he actually really expects the to believe that he has had $5 Million go through his hands in a six year span… And that he got clean by moving to Hollyweird.

And those aren’t the only outlandish claim in his new book.

You’re very honest in the book about your drug use. It got really crazy.
Yeah I was spending $2,600 a day, for six years, every single day. I don’t know how much that is but if you did the math, wow, I went through a lot of money. If I did the math I’d probably be shocked on how much money I spent, I’d probably punch myself in the face.

When you recounted your life, can you believe everything you’ve done?
I’ve done a lot. I didn’t really think about it like that. I thought more, damn how can I remember everything I’ve done!

I was six years old. I lost my virginity by experimenting. The girl was the same age as me. We kind of felt a little something funny. We knew it was kind of wrong yet we felt it was kind of natural.

How is that even possible?

You did a dating show and yet you had a girl friend the whole time.
Yes I did. Well I’m an entertainer, my job is to bring America good TV. In my book I had to write about me being an entertainer but yet after I finished entertaining I go home to my family. Yeah that was kind of difficult but I had to do it. I’m still with my girlfriend, we’ve been together now going on eight years and we have a kid together.

So when are you going to marry her?
Real soon. I just got to put myself in a much more comfortable state for me to get married. I’m still not in a comfortable state. There are certain things I want to do within myself. I just really want to be in the right financial position before I say ‘I do.’

No word as to whether Flav will be joined by any actual comedians on his tour, or whether he’ll be on his Charlie Sheen solo-dolo steez.
