Halle Berry Wants New Laws To Protect From Cameras

Remember Halle Berry’s lil run-in with the paps last week? Where she got snapped flippin the fawk out on some shutterbugs, cussing and calling them expletives and said “I’m doing something honorable — I’m not harassing people!”? Well Saturday she spoke to Mario Lopez at the Revlon Run/Walk for Cancer about the incident for Extra:

Berry told Mario, “I hate that I lost my cool, but you know, I’m human. That happens and when it comes to my daughter, I’m ferocious!”

The Oscar-winning actress lamented there isn’t much that can be done about this invasion of privacy. “You know, I don’t know… I’ve been struggling for years. There are no laws here that protect our children and as a mom, coming to the school… not only my child, but all the children that are there. It’s just wrong, wrong, wrong.”

Halle added, “You know, I think I’m going call Obama and say look, can you help us? I know this seems like a little issue right now. But it’s a big issue in our lives and our lives at the school and our children being protected. I think it’s really, really important.”

Cuz there are no paps in France, riiiiiiight? Halle Berry is reportedly even more anxious to move Nahla to Paris after a nasty confrontation with the razzi earlier this week.

According to RadarOnline reports:

Halle Berry is “more committed than ever” to moving her four-year-old daughter to France, following a nasty altercation with an over zealous and aggressive paparazzo, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The pressure that has been building over recent months reached boiling point for the 45-year-old actress this week when she arrived to pick up Nahla from school and ended up in a heated verbal battle with an angry photographer.

The Catwoman star was swarmed by photographers and asked them get off the school property or she would call the police, reveals an eyewitness, prompting one snapper to snarl, “f**k off… you make millions and I have a right to make money too.”

Halle became inflamed by the confrontation and began arguing with the photographer telling him, “Why don’t you go do an honest job and stop harassing me and my daughter?”

A school official and another parent got drawn into the drama, and the police soon arrived to inform all of the paparazzi to leave the grounds and helped the Oscar winner safely escort Nahla to her car.

“The school has only ever seen this type of chaos since Halle arrived with Nahla,” revealed a fellow parent, adding that even though there are other celebrity children who attend the school, they’ve only witnessed this type of aggression from the paparazzi towards Halle.

One of the mothers revealed that after the photographers were forced to leave by police, Halle broke down in tears and sobbed that this is no way for Nahla to live, saying she does everything in her power to protect the little girl.

In the past, friends have stated that Nahla is terrified when she sees the paparazzi anywhere and Halle has asked them to stop taking her picture and leave her alone. “They scream out her name constantly and say awful things about Halle in front of her,” said a pal.

Halle is now “more committed than ever” to get Nahla away from Los Angeles the pal says, and as RadarOnline.com previously reported, this is the primary reason Halle has given for wanting to move to France with fiancé Olivier Martinez, because the paparazzi laws there offer more protection.

We can understand Halle’s concern for Nahla, she’s doing what every mother should by protecting her child. But do you think maybe Nahla is just picking up on her mom’s anxiety? Does it seem like Halle is baiting these guys?

It just seems crazy to move your whole family to France to get away from the paparazzi when most of her jobs are in L.A. and realistically, it’s not like she’ll never see another cameraman in Paris.

Gabriel Aubry Taking Halle Berry To Court For More Child Support Money

Gabriel Aubry and Halle Berry were back in court again Thursday as the Canadian born model attempts to increase his child support payments from the mother of his child, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. A source says that Aubry is looking to “substantially increase” the monthly payments he receives from Berry, even though the former couple shares custody of their 4-year-old daughter Nahla.

Unfortunately for Aubry he did not get the chance to have his case heard as the judge granted a continuance. The former couple split in 2010 after five years together and have been engaged in a bitter dispute over Nahla ever since. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Berry is keen to relocate to France with her new fiancé Olivier Martinez and Nahla, something Aubry is vehemently opposed to.

WTF does this guy need more child support?? He barely has Nahla…SMH.

Halle Berry Eats Her Words Over Engagement, Actress Said She’d Never Wed Again

According to RadarOnline reports:

Halle Berry has laughed off her prior claims that she would never tie the knot again after she accepted Olivier Martinez’s proposal earlier this year.

The actress confirmed her engagement for the first time over the weekend although her sexy French fiancé spilled the beans last month.

“Who knew [I’d get engaged again]?” she giggled to Extra while flashing her diamond and emerald sparkler. “I swore it off, right? Never say never, people!”

Halle was previously married to baseball star David Justice and singer Eric Benet, both marriages ended badly with Berry accusing Justice of domestic violence and Benet of infidelity.

The actress told InStyle back in 2007 that she “will never, never get married again.”

Halle met Olivier, who previously dated Australian pop sensation Kylie Minogue, on the set of their movie Dark Tide in 2010.

We really hope Halle is doing this for the right reasons and not just to keep Nahla away from Gabriel “K-Fraudy” Aubry. But who knows. Maybe third time is the charm? We hope so — otherwise Halle won’t be giggling for long.

Pam Grier Wants Halle Berry To Play Her In Upcoming Biopic

Iconic actress Pam Grier, known most widely for her breakout role as Foxy Brown, has announced that movie rights to her tell-all autobiography “Foxy: My Life in Three Acts” have been optioned by Imprint Entertainment (one of the studios behind “Twilight.”) Grier has been voicing an interest in Halle Berry playing her ever since she first expressed an interest in adapting the book.

According to Michael Becker of Imprint, “’Foxy’ succeeds at a stark impression of Grier’s courage and inner strength without the use of rose-colored glasses. Imprint Entertainment looks forward to bringing this triumphant story to life.” In addition to movie rights, the film has also acquired television screenwriter Eunetta Boone to pen what is sure to be quite the scandalous movie, seeing as how Grier had relationships with some of Hollywood’s most controversial leading men, including Richard Pryor and Freddie Prinze. Grier’s life has the perfect mixture of history-making content and tabloid-like fluff to draw in a wide variety of movie goers of all backgrounds.

Grier, the iconic African American female sex symbol and action star from the 70′s, launched an era of films that became known as “Blaxploitation” movies – boasting predominantly black casts for black audiences. 40 years later Grier is an internationally celebrated award-winning actress who is beloved by all audiences. As Quoted by Director Quentin Tarantino while promoting his 1997 film JACKIE BROWN “Pam Grier might have been the first female action star.”
