Bossip has learned that Isaiah Washington along with his wife were evicted from their Venice, California home after defaulting on rent payments by $100,000.  The monthly payments on the house were only $20,000 a month, if he can’t afford that then we just don’t know what the deal is. He might need to holla at Bravo since they are caking the Atlanta housewives.

Isaiah Washington is now has officially gained African Citizenship:

Former Grey’s Anatomy star Isaiah Washington has become an official citizen of Sierra Leone. The actor was born in Houston, Texas, but has spent several months working with Sierra Leone’s President Ernest Bai Koroma in a bid to secure dual-nationality and celebrate his family’s links to the African country.

President Koroma agreed to grant Washington full citizenship and hand him an official Sierra Leone passport in September (08). The process has now been finalized and Washington is delighted to have achieved his goal.

He says “(I am) completely numb yet elated. I am at a lost (sic) for words. I am now a citizen of Sierra Leone. I need to send two photos for the Sierra Leone Passport that awaits me in Freetown. President Koroma now goes down in history as the ‘first’ African President to issue an African-American full citizenship based on DNA. Congrats to all who have been on this historical journey with me. Mission Accomplished. That said, I’m so moved right now that I am literally wiped out with the gravity of this new reality. Going home to celebrate with my ‘dual citizenship’ with my family.”

Although we’d like to see more of him on the big, and small screen, it’s clear that Isaiah has moved on to bigger and better things. Kudos to him for not letting Hollyweird’s gay mafia subdue his swagger and keep him from handling his biz.

Isaiah Washington was on Larry King last night and cleared some things up:

Isaiah Washington blamed costar Patrick Dempsey’s repeated tardiness to the Grey’s Anatomy set for the blow-up that resulted in Washington using a homophobic slur.Interviewed on Larry King Live, Washington said he regretted not confronting Dempsey the first time he was late, so he challenged him the second time. But Dempsey wanted to delay the scene more to wait for Grey’s star Ellen Pompeo, who plays Dempsey’s love interest, before shooting began.

“I said I don’t need Ellen, I can act,” Washington told King. “And that was the moment that sent it into a different zone.” According to Washington, Dempey erupted. “He became unhinged, sprayed spittle in my face,” said Washington, in his first television interview about the controversy. “I’m asking him why is he screaming at me. … He just becomes irate.”

That’s when Washington said “a lot of things I’m not really proud of.”

“I said several bad words,” he recalled, quoting himself as telling Dempsey: “There’s no way you’re going to treat me like the B-word, the P-word or the F-word.”

He said that the “F-word” was not meant as an anti-gay slur, but implied “somebody who is being weak.” Washington also strongly denied he ever directed the word at gay costar T.R. Knight. “I am not homophobic – in no way, shape or form,” said Washington.

As for Knight claiming the slur was directed at him, Washington said, “That’s a lie. He misrepresented himself.” Washington suggested Knight did that to advance his career and get more money. “He has been very disappointed in playing the character he has been playing. He told me that,” said Washington. But Washington said he felt badly about repeating the slur backstage at the Golden Globe Awards. “I wish I could take that back,” Washington said. He became emotional at one point in the interview. When King asked if any cast members had written to him, Washington paused and appeared close to tears when he recalled that Sandra Oh had sent him an email.

We think he is stupid at times but he should get his job back. If what he is saying is true, I can see how people in Hollyweird would try to use this to further a political agenda. You can’t send a man back to McDonald’s #4 meals after getting spoiled on Lobster for just sticking up for himself on the set.

“Patrick and I had a philosophical disagreement that got out of hand and that I regret a great deal,” Washington says. “I said a lot of negative things that were never reported, but there was one word that caught everyone’s attention, particularly someone who wasn’t even in the room with us. It was a fight between two men that shouldn’t have happened. But someone heard the booming voice of a black man and got really scared and that was the beginning of the end for me. I see that now, but I didn’t then.”

“I apologized and showed my remorse for what I said and for the pain I caused anyone,’’ says Washington. “If a black man can’t get forgiveness in this country, when so many other people like Robert Downey Jr. and the governor of California get second and third chances … I think that says a lot about race and this country where we stand.”

“People who know me know what’s really in my heart,’’ said Washington. “That’s what’s hurt me so much with all this. I was doing what I’m doing in Africa for years—before Angelina and Bono. But I’ve worked at homeless shelters for years and given money to make sure people knew they didn’t have to be hungry or the street. I have shared my blessings, but all that changed when this happened and it’s truly heartbreaking for me.’’

If it was a Black guy he called fa*got, Isaiah probably would have been fine and still had a job. This “sensitivity” stuff brings this track to mind.

Hollyweird via NBC wants Isaiah Washington back in the mix:

Recently dismissed “Grey’s Anatomy” co-star Isaiah Washington is in discussions with NBC about a deal, sources said. It was not clear whether NBC is interested in bringing Washington onto an existing series or casting him in a new project. Washington alluded to his conversations with NBC in his first interview after he was fired from “Grey’s” on June 7 because of fallout from the controversy surrounding his reported use of anti-gay slur in a reference to fellow cast member T.R. Knight.

The actor told Entertainment Weekly he and his agent “are sorting through a ton of offers in both film and TV.” “There is one network in particular that’s very interested, but I don’t want to say anything specific until it’s a done deal,” he said. Washington indeed had preliminary conversations with the network , though the talks have stalled, according to people familiar with the situation. Washington made news during the past week with a couple of charged interviews, including one suggesting that Knight should have been fired instead of him and accusing his former castmate of milking the homophobic remark incident to get more screen time and better pay.

NBC declined comment Monday. A rep for Washington could not be reached for comment.

If Isaiah can sit his crazy-ass down and shut up, he belongs back in Hollyweird where his passion is. You know “The Man” is intimidated with a guy named “Jamal Johnson” starts speaking his mind at work.

Isaiah Washington says they fired the wrong guy and is considering a lawsuit:

“I have to clear my name,” a determined Washington told the Houston Chronicle in a telephone interview from the set of his new movie, The Least of These. “I’ll start from the beginning. I’m telling everything. So here’s the truth.” Washington said Knight, who plays Dr. George O’Malley, stirred up the notion that the slur was targeted at him and created a negative work environment. Washington also alleged that Knight likely wanted a salary increase and a more substantive role for his character. Knight, who acknowledged that he was gay after the incident, told Ellen DeGeneres in January that Washington used the slur against him and that “everyone (on the set) heard it.”

“That’s a lie,” Washington said. “I used the word during a disagreement with Patrick. I apologized for that. We shook hands and went back to work.”

He said he is considering a lawsuit. “My livelihood, my honor and dignity and my name have been so challenged.”Washington said his firing was a big disappointment. “I was not fired for making homophobic slurs,” he said. “I did everything I said I would do. I offered to go to counseling, to do a public service announcement. I wanted everyone to know I was remorseful.”
