Jennifer Lopez may be able to finally wash her hands of the night-club shooting fiasco of 1999:

A woman who blames Diddy for being shot in the face during a nightclub incident almost ten years ago has finally let the rappers big-assed girlfriend at the time off the hook — for now.

Yesterday was supposed to be D-day — as in deposition — for Jennifer Lopez in Natania Reuben’s $120 million suit against Puffy — for a 1999 incident in which he was already acquitted of any wrongdoing. The deposition has taken months and months to schedule, but sources tell us Lo has “nothing to contribute” to the case, which is why her depo was finally KO’d. We’re also told that there’s no new date in sight — meaning Lopez may have dodged the bullet for good.

J Lo must be pretty relieved at this point. She’s probably sick and tired of being associated with Puffy’s suspect bullshyte.

Diddy is reportedly upset that he gets no love from People Magazine:

Sean Combs is said to be furious at People magazine for panning his performance in “A Raisin in the Sun” and burying the photos of his twins in the back pages. The weekly just featured Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, and her twins, Max and Emme, on the cover – and a large layout inside on them and Lopez’s hubby, Marc Anthony. “It was the last straw for Diddy. They gave him lousy placement [in the Feb. 12, 2007] issue when Kim [Porter] had his twins, D’Lila Star and Jessie James.” If People paid anything for the photos, it was a tiny fraction of the $6 million the weekly allegedly paid for the images of the J.Lo twins. “She is going to make a great mother. I’m going to send her some Sean John baby clothes. I’m so happy for her. It’s such a blessing. It’s double the love, and it’s also double the crying and the screaming, so it’s a unique blessed situation. It’s a rarity to have twins. She’ll be all right.”

How wonderful, because that’s exactly what those babies need is some Sean John in their lives.

Mariah Carey denies saying that she’d rather be on stage with a pig than do a duet with Jennifer Lopez:

“This is just some Internet gossip and it’s pathetic that people actually entertain the thought that this could be real. This is another sad example of two strong women being put against each other.”
