Beyoncé Returns To Stage For First Time Since Blue Ivy’s Birth

If you couldn’t make it to Atlantic City last night, no worries, we got you photos from BeyBey’s big comeback show.

The singer showed she was back on top of her game Friday night in Atlantic City despite pre-show jitters.

According to the NYPost:

Beyoncé admitted to butterflies as she returned to the stage last night at the Revel resort in Atlantic City for a four-night stint.

“It is exciting. I’m a little nervous, though,” the new mother said in a video called “The Making of a Concert: Part One.”

“It’s like going back to my old job. It’s a little strange. But it’s important that you don’t lose yourself and you still have your own passions. I’m back to work.

“I’m back to business,” the superstar singer added.

The video begins with a montage of the star, as assorted newscasters discuss the high expectations for her upcoming shows.

Beyoncé sang the Whitney Houston anthem “I Will Always Love You,” and Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor,” according to videos posted online by concertgoers.

According to USA Today, her husband Jay-Z and former Destiny’s Child bandmate Kelly Rowland attended Friday’s concert.

Baby Blue Ivy Carter wasn’t in attendance to see her superstar mom in action, but she did feature in a post-show video montage.

Showing off an impressive post-baby body following the Jan. 7 birth, Beyonce performed hits “Crazy in Love” and “Love on Top” in the show’s early stages, following them with the seductive “Naughty Girl” and dance floor hit “Run The World.”

She married her own “If I Were a Boy” with the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” and then paid tribute to the late Houston with the introduction of “I Will Always Love You” transitioning into the 2009 hit “Halo.”

Before the montage rolled and the show was done, there was time for one more crowd-pleaser, the show closing with “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).”

Apple Martin, 8, and little brother Moses, 6, joined mom Gwyneth Paltrow for Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s “Watch the Throne” tour Saturday night in London.

“Yup. Uncle Jay at the O2,” the actress, 39, Tweeted, sharing a photo of her children throwing up the rapper’s diamond hand sign at the concert.

Paltrow and her husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, are famously close with Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé.

“Yes, it’s true; My kids call Jay-Z ‘Uncle Jay.’ I call him Uncle Jay too now,” she joked in 2009.

Gwenyth Paltrow once again proves why she might be the one of the coolest moms ever! Calling Jay Z and Beyonce aunt and uncle might be able to make up the fact that she named one of her kids after a fruit. Maybe. Probably not, but she’s trying.

Family hustle man T.I. has passed on some fatherly advice to new dad Jay-Z

In an Interview with Fuse, the rapper, who is the father of six gave the Roc Nation boss some useful tips to bear in mind while he raises his four-month-old daughter with Beyonce, Blue Ivy:

“Little girls are going to judge men they meet in the future based off how their father treated them,” said the rapper and star of VH1’s ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle.’

“You’ve got to be her first love, her first everything so when she run into nonsense in the street then she’ll know, ‘Nah, my daddy would never do it like that, so this isn’t even worth my time or attention.’”

Before adding not to forget one vital thing: “Another piece of advice is enjoy the moments. Enjoy the moments because once they’re gone, they’re gone,” he said.

Nice words from T.I., but with all the love Blue Ivy has coming from the Carter house, we think Jay has this one under control. We don’t foresee Tiny giving Bey any tips anytime soon. Do you think the “Trouble Man” should be giving Hov fatherly advice?

Jay-Z Invites Kim Kardashian To London Bash For TyTy

There’s been a lot of talk that BeyBey ain’t really feelin’ Kimmy Cakes too tough, but this weekend in London it looks like she’ll have her shot to rub shoulders with rap royalty Jay-Z and the Queen Bey herself.

The UK Sun reports:

JAY-Z is throwing a monster London bash on Saturday for his manager Ty Ty’s 40th birthday – and the guest list of 150 attending include Kim Kardashian, her brother Rob and his girlfriend Rita Ora, plus Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, Jay’s wife Beyonce and Kanye West – who is touring the UK with Jay.

A source said: “It’s at a top city venue after Jay and Kanye’s O2 show.

“There will be a dinner first cooked by a chef flown in from New York and then a huge party.

“Security is going to be tight.”

Hopefully Kim allows Yeezy to stay and have a good time, according to the same tabloid, she

dragged him from a power dinner at London’s Zuma restaurant, where The Jigga Man had hired a section for a party.

A source said: “Jay expected Kay and Kim to mingle.

“But as soon as Kim whispered in Kanye’s ear, they left.”

The pair were up early yesterday for a Radio 1 interview, then last night went hand in hand to the Fifi Awards at The Brewery in London.

Kim’s signature perfume was up for the Best Celebrity fragrance award but lost out to Justin Bieber.

Jay-Z Backs President Obama On Gay Marriage

Rapper Jay-Z is singing President Obama’s praises for endorsing same-sex marriage, insisting “it’s the right thing to do.”

“I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back,” Jay-Z told CNN on Monday, commenting on gay couples not being able to tie the knot.

“What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love,” he said. “That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

The singer’s statements come as several, prominent black pastors have spoken out against the President’s historic announcement to back gay marriage. Obama held a conference call with several of the church leaders last week to explain his decision.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, shrugged off claims Obama’s decision could cost him votes, especially with the African-American community.

“It’s really not about votes,” Jay-Z insisted. “It’s about people.”

The singer is an ardent supporter of the President, performing at several White House events in the past four years.

Who’da thought that Hov would be vouching for gay rights one day? My how things have changed…

Proud Papa Hov’s BFF Will Smith is also down with the gay marriage movement.

While promoting Men in Black III in Berlin, Smith told reporters that legally allowing gay people to marry is “about semantics” and that Obama’s support for same-sex marriage was a “brave” move.

“[..] If anybody can find someone to love them and to help them through this difficult thing that we call life, I support that in any shape or form.”
