MJ sure has a colorful list of characters working on his new album. Kanye West, Will.i.am, and Ne-Yo are all on the roster to help Michael make another comeback. He is most likely an inspiration to all of them and this is what Will.i.am said went down when he received a phone call from the King of Pop:

“Michael called me out of the blue and I just didn’t believe it was him. I was like, ‘Come on, who is this, how did you get my number? Stop playing around.’ He said, ‘No it’s really me, it’s Michael.’ I still didn’t believe it was him and was like, ‘Dude, seriously, I got to go.’”

That conversation was probably hilarious. We can just hear Mike now in that sweet little voice of his saying “No really, it’s me, Michael.” What 49 year-old man talks like that?

Ludacris was seen at Verve in the ATL this past weekend rockin’ a head design and glasses. We’re not sure if we are feelin’ this new look just yet, but it’s probably good for his crossover appeal.

Resident Partyhopper Gabrielle Union, Ne-Yo and Chingy also hit up the event.

Ne-Yo on being about his business and not having time for Britney Spears and her comeback issues:

“I have no idea what’s going on with Britney Spears right now. I wrote the songs for Britney, but this was before she shaved her head and went into rehab again. When that happened, I lost all contact with her and her label. I was calling them, they weren’t returning phone calls. I’m like, ‘All right. I guess they’re not interested anymore.’ The last thing I heard was that Britney was mad at me over some songs that were supposed to go to her that wound up going to Nicole (Scherzinger). Britney Spears’ people called me like, ‘Hey, why are you giving away Britney’s music?’ I’m like, ‘Hold on. Y’all ain’t cutting me no check!”

Ne-Yo was interviewed by Sister 2 Sister Magazine and was asked how did the gay rumors start:

I don’t know. To this day I’m still trying to figure it out. You know what I think it is? It’s because when you see me, when you talk to me, my mannerisms are not-I’m not that. So people see me and they don’t see something that they’re accustomed to and people feel the need to have to categorize stuff. They just can’t let it be “I don’t know what that is.” So they got to do something. He’s not rough, rugged, and raw, so he must be gay”.

He also says Superhead is lying about him having a foot fetish and admits he is a ‘butt man’, along with hips and thighs of course.

Neyo and his new mystery woman showed up at the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards in LA last night. Mary J. Blige and her “producer” husband Kendu Isaacs were also in attendance. It’s good to see this couple going strong.

What’s up with these “producer titles” thrown on these people. Why can’t they just say so and so’s boyfriend or husband just doesn’t really work?

As Bossip was first to exclusively report, Blood Diamond Russ is dating model Porshla. The new couple were spotted at the ‘NutraCea in Indonesia and Beyond’ cocktail reception in NYC yesterday. Is this supposed to be his “public answer” to Kimora dragging around Amistad?

Ne-Yo discusses writing Michael Jackson’s new upcoming comeback album:

“I’m not trying to top Thriller. Anybody trying to top something that’s already been done is fighting a losing battle. It was a different industry back then, a different way of thinking and people were easier to impress. Everything in music has been done now, so Michael needs to find his place again.”

I guess it would be hard to top the creative genius of that Thriller album, but it hasn’t been hard for Ne-Yo (among others) to imitate the choreography. Honestly, I think Michael should just keep it in the closet, not really interested in him making a comeback even if the hottest songwriting mer-man (man mermaid) in the game right now is doing the writing.

The talented songwriter, Ne-Yo, moves his body like a snake for Giant Magazine. I just can’t stop SMH at these pictures, he reminds of a combination of things all rolled into one— Catfish, that dude from A Clockwork Orange, Bubba from Forrest Gump, and that Kool Aid pitcher guy. Something about him “just doesn’t do it for me”, can’t put my finger on one thing, maybe ya’ll can help me out.

According to Miss Info over at Hot 97 in NYC, Superhead has been bragging to her friends about “dating” Ne-Yo back in Cali. I guess she thought she had to tighten up her ho game now that Kim Kardashian has ganked her industry spot. Poor thang.

Karrine Steffans was blamed for breaking up Bobby and Whitney last year.

Ne-Yo was recently interviewed by our homies over at Extra TV and called ‘music’ his girlfriend, she (music) is very jealous, and she doesn’t leave time for anything else. He also says he is a butt-man and confesses to having a crush on Alicia Keys.

For “some reason”, I don’t think his game is strong enough to pull AK.
