Raven Symone is now slim and trim but clearly that’s not enough to keep your show on the air! It has been announced that ABC Family has decided to cut Raven Symone’s new show “State of Georgia” short. Apparently, the show was not bringing in the numbers the network projected.

The last time Raven was a big hit on TV was when she was on the Disney Channel, which is a totally demographic than any channel except Nickeloden? Nevertheless, Raven’s been doing this Hollywood thing for a while and we’re pretty sure we won’t hear about her tanking – Those Cosby and Disney checks are probably still rolling in StronG!

Raven-Symoné, Jill Marie Jones, Jurnee Smollett, and Wendy Raquel Robinson hit up the 21st NAACP Theatre Awards last night in LA.

We see she is sportin’the long and luxurious locks look again. Probably for her show “State Of Georgia.”

Minnie Ripperton’s comedienne seed Maya Rudolph was also spotted out in L.A. on the set of her new show “Up All Night”. We see Maya is also making her way back to slimmy trimmy status after giving birth to her son Jack this July. Congratulations Maya.

Slimmy-Trimmy Raven-Symoné reveals how she lost 70 lbs:

Former child star Raven-Symone insists she’s always been comfortable in her own skin, but after losing 70lbs, she’s certainly more comfortable in her own clothes. ‘It’s great to put on clothes and not wear a girdle,’ says the actress. ‘People say, “You look so pretty!” But I was pretty before,’she tells People magazine in a new interview. ‘It messes with your head a little bit.’

‘I could look in the mirror and see me at 200lbs or 135lbs and I’m still the same person.’ The star decided to focus on her health and well being after taking a break from the spotlight in 2007. She began working out at least four times a week, with her sessions including 30-minutes on the elliptical machine. She also overhauled her eating habits, and now favours oatmeal and apple slices with almond butter for breakfast and salmon and steamed asparagus for dinner.

While her body has transformed, her message to fans remains the same. ‘Whether or not I’m this size, I always preached, “Be comfortable with your self,” and I will preach that forever.’

Good for Raven, she looks great!

Janet Jackson spent the second anniversary of brother Michael Jackson’s death traveling. The international superstar was spotted in Tegel Airport catching a flight from Berlin to Paris. Wonder if the all black is out of mourning or just a coincidence…
