T-Pain says it’s a wrap for everyone ‘biting’ off his little vocoder, Auto-Tune swag:

At the end of the “Can’t Believe It” remix, T-Pain says that Auto-Tune is almost up. What? Why would Pain, whose Thr33 Ringz debuts at #4 on next week’s Billboard albums sales chart, extinguish his signature sound now?

“Not for me,” Pain clarified, “for everybody else.” The singer — who told DJ Skee in a separate interview that artists such as Ron Browz have used the Auto-Tune effect poorly. If Diddy can collaborate with Pain and pay him for using the Auto-Tune, so can you other guys. “Diddy actually gave me royalties on this album just for using Auto-Tune. He signed the contract and everything. If I can do that with Diddy, somebody else better be signing something. It’s Diddy. He didn’t have to involve me at all. … I’m writing and producing on his album, and he gave me extra royalties on top of that for using something I just brought back.”

Damn, cats are really paying this ni**a for some recycled ish? That just goes to show you where the music game is at today.

T-Pain got the scare of his life when that stripper he was presumably singing about being in love with showed up with some kids:

Hip-Hop singer T-Pain’s past is coming back to haunt him, so to speak. The Grammy-award winning producer had a scare backstage at a concert recently when a stripper he dated as a teen showed up to introduce him to her kids. The rap star, real name Faheem Najm, stole the stripper from his brother and had sex with her at a party – but never thought he’d meet her again. He tells Spin magazine, “She was like, ‘Hey, I remember you. We did it (had sex) at a party… She had a couple of kids… It was weird.”

T-Pain learned a valid lesson that night: Self-respecting men don’t steal their brother’s stripper, whore girlfriend and have sex with her at a party… They get their own stripper, whore girlfriend and have sex with her at a party! SMH

Diddy’s about to step in sh*t again. He’s thinking of using a vocoder in his “rhymes.” This constitutes a double negative:

Hip hop legend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is currently in the studio recording music for his forthcoming third solo album. Up and coming genius and Auto-Tune rep T-Pain has joined Puff in the booth, working with the rapper on innovative ways to present the controversial music tool. “T-Pain gave me permission to use the vocoder, the Auto-Tune, and he showed me various tricks that nobody knows but him and myself,” Puff said. To add to the mix, Diddy has also been experimenting with elements of electro music most familiarized by Afrika Bambaataa and Cybotron in the early 80′s.

Is anyone really checking for a Diddy album?? When was the last time Diddy put out an album that you loved?

So BET, Katt, and T-Pain all fabricated a story for us:

As previously reported on Livesteez, Comedian Katt Williams was a no-show at the BET Hip-Hop Awards ’08 that took place in Atlanta on Saturday, but the reason for his absence was unknown. Today, we’ve learned that the pint-size comic pitched a serious hissy fit and walked off the show, according to insiders. Williams claimed earlier this week that he turned over his hosting job to T-Pain after losing a break-dancing contest to the rapper. But sources say he actually bailed after an angry face-off with BET execs before the show’s taping at the Boisfeuillet Jones Civic Center on October 18, accoring to the NY Daily News. “Katt has become difficult now that he’s a megastar,” one source says. “He was very demanding during rehearsals. He really berated one female member of the production company. He launched into a verbal assault on her in front of other people. I mean, he read her the riot act. “Then he left the set and said he wouldn’t return unless she apologized. She wouldn’t. BET and the production company backed her up. Katt wouldn’t come back. There are many words that could be used to describe T-pain but there are none that quite encapsulate our sentiments after reading what he had to say in an article on Blender.com. There were such gems as:
