Tyra Banks was recently spotted on a date with some mystery dude who looks like Derek Jeter if he smoked rocks. They two hit up LA’s popular Spago restuarant. Tyra looks good as usual.

This is a preview clip of the Tyra Banks show where she discusses her weight gain. SMH at her crying at the end. She looks pretty good in that swimsuit but why is she crying if her self-esteem is so intact? Tyra became a star by supporting the unhealthy thin look. Now she wants to be a “weight preacher” now that she has a talk-show, gained 40 pounds, and is getting cracked on. SMH. I can just picture Tyra 5-10 years ago crackin on some overweight fugly girl somewhere with her “top model” friends. Oprah Jr. arriving at the I Have A Dream – Los Angeles Dream Keeper Awards – yesterday. Maybe she got a man and is laying off the Fatburger (don’t know) but Tyra isn’t looking hefty (busty, yes) but not hefty in these pics. Not loving the blonde lace-front, but she still looks good none-the-less. I wonder if the lace-front installation process is a painful one…

Tyra Banks discusses gaining over 30 pounds in the new issue of People Magazine:

“I get so much mail from young girls who say, ‘I look up to you, you’re not as skinny as everyone else, I think you’re beautiful,’ ” she says. “So when they say that my body is ‘ugly’ and ‘disgusting,’ what does that make those girls feel like?”… …”I feel more comfortable when I’m lighter – I sleep better, I snore less, I have more endurance when I work out, my arms look better,” she admits….Her biggest source of figure angst is her size-DD breasts, which she says make it hard to find clothes that fit: “I would love for them to be a size and a half smaller.”

Now that we have the weight and breasts out the way, when is she going to start talking about the this picture from last month? What do you think she would say to the girls who write to her about getting a guy hard in public?

“I have a magazine called Jolie, which is a fashion magazine which stands for ‘live pretty,’” Fox told PEOPLE in Miami on Saturday. “I’m editor at large, which basically means my responsibility is that I interview whoever is on the cover and I also recruit cover models.” Of the publication itself, “We are gearing toward minorities,” says Fox, 42, adding, “So far we’ve had myself, Tyra Banks, Kimora Lee Simmons, LisaRaye Misick – who is the First Lady of Turks and Caicos – on the cover. We celebrate the fabulous life. “We are a magazine that is about encouraging, having a positive attitude and no matter what size you are, from a two all the way up to size 20, that you are fabulous and that you are loved and beautiful too.”

Funny that Vivica is now into the “Beauty” and “Self-Esteem” field considering she has obviously OD’ed on the plastic herself. She is going to be a nice role model for her self-esteem depraved readers.

Karrine Steffans (Superhead) said to John Salley and Ananda Lewis:

“I heard they call Tyra ‘Hollywood Hop,’” Steffans told Salley and Lewis, “for the many men in Hollywood who have bedded Tyra and moved on.”

The guy in the picture looks like Paul Calderon from the movie King of New York but can’t say definitively it is him. Only thing we could dig up on Calderon is that he was teaching Salsa with his wife some time back. For what it’s worth, they both are credited together on the Michael Jackson History DVD as actors. Whether it’s Calderon or not, Tyra looks pretty good in that kini.

Jay-Z refers to a fight which was caught on video where Jim Jones and Camron were chased out of Rucker Park.

The track sounds kinda weak and we can likely expect a Dipset diss track going a little harder within the next few days. Jay-Z sounds desperate addressing Jim Jones after asking “WHO IS JIM JONES” on a recent Hot 97 interview. Jay-Z just helped Jim Jones sell a lot more records by going after him, Jay-Z looks to have taken the bait from Jimmy. Spotted at Realtalk NY. All in all, Jay-Z is too big and too reputable to even be addressing Jim Jones.

UPDATE: Jim Jones speaking on Jay’s new diss track via AHH, Jim says he is putting his response out tonight:

He ain’t even spittin’ right on that joint, so he kinda disappointed me ‘cause I thought he would’ve came harder. But for the people, I’m gonna put my verse on it tonight, so we gonna have the official Jay-Z [and] Jim Jones remix, and I’m gonna have it tomorrow. The BDS is already runnin’, so I appreciate you Jay, givin’ me extra BDS. That’ll probably take me up another thousand spins or something like that.
