Talented Tennis Star Venus Williams launched her new athletic clothing line “Eleven” at Steve & Barry’s in NYC. Those sneakers look wack as hell, they actually remind me of the 2002 version of a pair of British Knights. As for the clothes…since they are intended to be worn on the tennis court I guess all I can really say is they’re okay, but they are not screaming with style or innovation at all.

A recent article picked up by CNN and other major media outlets highlights the growing ‘Something New’ movement. According to the article, Black women are taking cues from stars such as D-list Shar Jackson and Venus Williams to date white. The article entitled “Could Mr. Right be white?’ may be interesting to some and comedy for others. Some quotes from the article:

“I don’t sit around dreaming about the perfect black man I’m going to marry,” Jones said.”I’m not saying that white men are the answer to all our problems,” Jones said. “I’m just saying that they offer a different solution.”

For some, they argue, white wives are the ultimate status symbol. “They don’t want a dark chocolate sister laying around their swimming pool,” Moore said.

“All the black men literally pushed (us) out the way to talk to the blondes,” said Jones, who soon declared, “I’m going to date whoever.”

“To a certain degree, black people are sick of each other,” Alexander said. “It would be better for black men and black women to open their options.”

Fresh from her Wimbledon win, Venus Williams took her boyfriend, washed up golfer Hank Kuehne, out to dinner in London tonight.

Hopefully, some of the Williams’ talent can rub off on the divorced guy with a kid, he has failed to win a single professional golf tournament during his long career. We are sure he will have time to go on plenty of dinners this year. Venus is looking good. Does Hank look like he has an agenda?

‘Hank’ doesn’t have to worry about golf and things like money, he is a celebrity dater:

Hank Kuehne’s missed the cut in the last two PGA Tour events he’s played. He hasn’t finished above 135th this season and his highest finish last year was a tie for 49th. Think Kuehne cares? Think again. This is unremarkable pro golfer is a remarkable dater. His latest celebrity girlfriend is tennis star Venus Williams. Kuehne has even gotten Venus to come to the golf course to watch him miss cuts.

Now, that’s skill. Kuehne has been bringing it for years too. He dated American Idol judge Paula Abdul in 2000, back when she was a little hotter and a lot less crazy…. Just last year, Kuehne divorced from his wife (not Paula), apparently realizing she wasn’t a celebrity.

Damn, even the golf journalists know Hank has an agenda.

Venus Williams is still going strong with her boyfriend, the couple was spotted this week at the Wimbledon Championship tournament in the UK. We wish her the best of the luck. Her balding K-Fraud probably can’t wait to get his hands on some Wimbledon cash.

We wonder what he does for a living and how much Venus gives this guy for his daily allowance?

Update: The bald-headed guy is Hank Kuehne, a washed up golfer with an official Nationwide Tour money total of $10,855 during his career. He doesn’t seem to be that good at golf. He has a kid and is divorced.
